Re: Position offset with Papywizard/PanoGear

Thanks Klaus for your detailed information! So far everything runs fine for me now, fast and accurate, no stitching problems and also accu life time is perfect. I still have the first Giga pano I shot where I didn't deactivate the alternate drive yet (set to 7 degrees), but I can't succeed in stitch...

Hi,

so, there is a version that runs within APG, correct? I've purchased the Photoshop version but can't work with it on my Gigapixel panos due to filesize, RAM and "other" problems. So, how does Neutralhazer work within APG, on single shots? Where can I download it?

Position offset with Papywizard/PanoGear

Hi, After having shot many GigaPixel panos with Gigapan equipment, I've replaced my (outdated and worn-out) Gigapan with a brand new PanoGear, controlled via Papywizard. While test shooting (pitch before yaw) panos, I've noticed a tremendous drop in pitch from column to column. I thougt it's due to ...

Hi mediavets, thank you so much for all your input - that's simply great! However, it turned out that Windows 8 really is a nightmare - I didn't succeed in pairing via bluetooth, had constant crashes of Papywizard and much more... I finally decided to format my old MacBook and installed OS Lion on i...

Could you give any further details about parining under Windows8? I'm trying to do the same thing, but it drives me mad... :-) I must say that I'm not very common with Windows8, but I'm trying since 2 weeks to make this thing work... without any success.

Hi panoramicessentials.com

thanks for your detailed explanations! That's of great help! Hopefully I will soon be able to fix everything - I simply don't want to go back to my old GigaPan, on the other hand... this all seems to be very complicated and complex to set up correctly... :-/

Hi Andrew, thanks for your explanations! I tried again, but still I'm not able to connect papywizard to my Panogear. As far as I understood, when shooting far from any WiFi network, I have to connect to the panoshoot module via it's IP 192.168.245.1, which works fine (I can also use the built in UI)...

Panoshoot Newbie needs some input...

Hi I recently bought a Panogear with Panoshoot to replace my GigaPan Epic100 I was using for several years. The Panogear looks great, and after the lecture of the manual it was rather easy to install Panoshoot, make the update to the newest SW release and hop out for a test shooting. I did NOT manag...

Setting up papywizard vis bluetooth on Windows 8

Hi I've been working a couple of years with GigaPan hardware and just got my new Panogear two days ago. Unfortunately I'm a Mac user, and my Macs all have OSX 10.8 installed, so papywizard would not work for me. Fortunately I could get hold of a Windows Netbook with Windows 8 installed, but am compl...

Hi mediavits,

thanks for your reply! That did the trick, great! Somehow my prefs must have been corrupted, but enabling GPU and restarting the application worked perfectly!

Resolution of pictures in APG editor

Hi,
While working with the latest version of APG I have troubles finding the right spot to increase the picture resolution in editor mode. Could anyone give me a hint on where I can increase the editor's picture resolution?
Thanks a lot!

A short update to the whole story... :-)

Today I installed OSX 10.6.3 - and everything works fine. Could it be the bug is only there under 10.5?

Hi Klaus yes, it's an import from a GigaPan-head using the GigaPan pattern import for positioning. I use JPG files, not pre-processed in any way. I made many of these panos with the earlier version without any problems... Maybe I should check the scratch disk settings, 'cause I remember an issue I h...

Hi Klaus thanks for your reply - and sorry for having been so "uncomplete" in my descriptions :-) You're absolutely right with your remarks: the crash happens during the "colour equalization" process. I've tried to change the settings regarding multiprocessor, multicore, GP a.s.o. and also did a re-...

Uninstall on OSX

I'm desperately trying to uninstall and reinstall Autopano Giga on a OXS 10.5 system. The problem started when suddenly the version 2.0.8 update asked for up to 1050 MB of temporary space and I was unable to render any panorama. I've tried to work with 2.5, leaving me with psb files of 45 GB... that...

Where to download earlier versions?

I'm still struggling with the "not enough space on scratch folder" problem (see: http://www.autopano.net/forum/t9022-not-enough-space-on-temporary-folder-version-2.0.8), and am running out of time, since I have to render some panos for a client... I tried to find version 2.0.6 of AutopanoGiga, which...

Hello Alexandre

is there any news about this case? I'm on 2.0.9 now and the error still exists - can't render ANY panos right now...
Is there a way to go back to 2.0.6, since I have to work on some client's stuff...

Thanks for your support

Not enough space on temporary folder - Version 2.0.8

I've just upgraded to version 2.0.8 of Autopano Giga and get an error message telling me: "Not enough space on temporary folder ... 133 GB available, 501 GB needed.
