Re: Very confused about batch processing workflow

But what if you have an exact number, not a min and max, that's kinda a crappy way to figure things out. I have six fisheyes for every pano. I want autopano to use 6 images, no more, no less. I also want autopano to force every image into the pano and treat as in-line. Simple... Why isn't batch set ...

Re: autotour

very browser specific, I believe it worked on safari set up as an ipad, but not on firefox, chrome, safari native, or IE. What will kill the whole project is still no flat file projection on half the browsers.

autotour

I built a small test tour, 3 flat and one spherical. The auto tour works on the flat images and starts on the spherical, starts to turn and then stops, minute or so later advances to the flat.

Wanted, Churches and other related scenes

I started a site a few years ago called 'It Was Built On Faith' http://rhmpano.org and had hopes of adding to it but life has slowed down my efforts. The original premiss is to show off MY work and limit it to places of worship, completely non denominational but now I see no reason to not have it a ...

I know what you mean, the user is the key, and unfortunatly, that key is very blunt. I have tried to peddle this craft every way I can think of and am finally just going back to take a look and you will understand. (yeh, dream on). I loved combo boxes till I hated them, now it's tour maps and I do s...

What's wrong with the way krpano handles it now? I have several gigapixel images that where processed by krpano, I also did them with zoomify, but prefer the krpano presentation. So since I see no issues, I don't understand what yours are. My gigapixel-krpano samples are at http://rhmpano.com under ...

Auto-rotate, yes or no?

What's the consensus regarding starting a tour with auto-rotate vs the confused viewer staring at a static screen. We know what to do, but does average surfer know?

I like the way you have a pano start on your intro, looks good. I use wordpress on the backend and it's harder to embed this stuff. I agree that I need to offer more the static text, but my real problem is getting anyone to go from the tour itself not in afterwards.

How neaer is near?? By shooting at f7.1 to 11 you have relatively good depth of field. Are you shooting mountains or a close scene that has mountains in the background?

Ah psd... There are two photoshop file types, psd and psb, psb is for large file types. Tiff's max out at 2gigs and your pano with your rig will end up 6 to 7 gig. So have autopano save as psb. Now for the funny stuff. I am not sure about panotour but since it uses the krpano license I think it migh...

How do you sell yourself from your tours?

My latest tour, the Car Collection http://astimegoesby.us/panoramas/austinscarcollection was featured on the Hemmings Blog http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2012/09/15/four-links-360-degree-collection-tour-windsor-castle-concours-what-if-packard-panther-vintech-p550/ Because of this I have had over...

I have both a nn5 and a gigapan pro, I max out with Canon 5d mkII and Canon 300 f4. For indoor 360x180 I use a Sigma 8mm fisheye. You can reverse the slide and mount the fisheye with a collar mount on the lense. I use a Canon collar off the Canon 70x200 with a quarter inch trimmed off the collars ba...

I have a gigapan pro for the stuff they recommend it be used for, also a nodal ninja 5, for small 8mm pano's I would just use a light stand with the collar clamp attached to the stand, then a high tech piece of blue tape with 4 pen marks. I am putting the gigapan to more use now. It was used for the...

I think my biggest change have been my eyes. I went from a Mk I to MK II but use the same 8mm Sigma for the fisheye shots. The Jag was taken on a mini pod as was the 62Corvette so the nadir are top and bottom. The church was taken with both a 17x40 set at 17 for the main shot and 3 shot groups with ...

I thought they should be sharper as well. The camera and lense where on a mount and with an 8mm there was a bracket around the lens and I think I must have gotten it out of focus. I was at f7.1 so I agrre it should have been sharper. Fortunatly I have access so retakes are not an issue. Now that you...

control points and optimization

When I open the control points editor and check to see the control points. all of the control points are in a single/small area of the images, why aren't there more points dispersed through out the scene?

I know it's not hardware, I have the current trial up and running on the same computer but a new (second install) of windows 7 on my E: drive. It is either a driver or software conflict, I just want to track it down so it doesn't happen again when I install a new program.
