Thanks - That worked great for the Nadir Patch. That saves some time. The tip is appreciated. And that apparently works for the Hot Spots after inserting them as well. Any idea how to change the default on the Hot Spots, so the preferred is choosen from the start? When I use the "Set as Parameters,"...

Nadir Patch and Hot Spot Defaults???

Is there anyway to change the defaults on the Nadir Patch and the Hot Spot graphic. I have about 50 identically sized Panos to produce and I want everyone to have the identical Nadir Patch and Hot Spot color and size. It sure would save a lot of time if I could "demand" that all the panos have the s...

Difference Between PanoTour Pro and KrPano MultiRes Droplet

I tried posting this on the KrPano Forum, but have not yet received a response. So I thought I would see if anyone here has anything to add. Which method yields a "better" Flash pano - using KrPano MultiRes Droplet or PanoTour Pro - assuming all default auto settings are used for both? What (if any)...

I have custom calibrated my MacBook Pro, and the APG and PTP color scheme is a little easier to see with that setting than the other two default gamma calibrations. But I have to turn the brightness up all the way.

I haven't checked yet on my iMac - but I'm sure it will be a lot easier to see.

Does that mean the the plan is on or off? :) Another skin would be great.

Sorry, I mean a second skin is in progress for a next release ;)

Thanks, that would be appreciated. :)

Andrew, I was in error. I did not have the mobile device setting enabled during save. So that makes it even more puzzling. I thought I may have messed up on jpeg quality. So I checked the difference between using 10 and using 12, and it is only a factor of 4 times. I'll have to do some more experime...

I have looked at ptp etc on a pc and it is a bit dark but on my Mac it looks great so please do not take that away... Most pro 3D software apps have the same skin colour... which makes the software look more professional... D The Ctrl+U command is generally used by us to debug the UI colors/margin ...

No I haven't. I was going to but couldn't think why that would cause PTP to save in that mode. I'll do it and see if that makes a diff.

I am not sure of the pixel dimensions etc. But I believe most all the settings were the same for both in reference to any specs that would have increased/decreased file sizes. Same pano, same "compute optimal," FOV, ec. Same saved settings. And yes the mobile device compatibility was checked. But I ...

Can This be Right? - Folder size is HUGE

I just did my first beginning tour (one pano) from a licensed PTP, with 4 hotspots. I wanted to create it and make sure it would play on my server before linking to other panos, etc. When doing a similar start of a tour with the trial version, the folder I saved everything in was 23Mb. Now with the ...

PTP Project Saved as PT Project

This software is a little goofy. After getting everything licensed and having some things working that didn't work in the trial version, like the progress bar, I now have another problem. When I save a project in PTP, it is saved as a PT project. So when I open it I am taken to my trial version of P...

Well, Firefox works and I can now see my upgrade options. And I was pleased to see the option to upgrade to PTP and a place to submit my KrPano license which it promptly rejected. This process is very difficult to understand and negotiate. I'm at a loss. I guess I will contact support and hope I get...

No wonder I'm confused. :)

And having a "my account" and "my upgrade" page that can't be viewed with Safari on a Mac doesn't make sorting out my options any easier.

I'll try Firefox.

Thanks for the help. This is still confusing. Maybe because the updates page in "My Account" is a mess. It is unusable. See screen shot below. I purchased AutoPano Giga last year, and own a Krpano license. So I should be entitled to PTP. But apparently I already upgraded to 2.5 with PT, not knowing ...

Now I'm even more confused. I just read this online: "if you own a licence of Autopano Giga 2, you can get a free licence of Panotour. If you own a licence of Autopano Giga 2 and also a licence of KRPano, you can get for free a licence for Panotour Pro." Is his true. I own a license for AutoPano Gig...

Decisions - Which Tour Software???

I am finding this decision and licensing a little confusing. I have been using Krpano for a couple of years. In my desire to make tours a more pleasant experience I bought an unlimited license from Krpano in order to use with APT. After doing so I found out this is no longer supported, and the versa...

Maybe someone could edit this and make it more "eye friendly" and then give us the corrected code. :)

Or perhaps Kolor could do it for us. I am still debating which tour software to purchase and this is definitely a concern. I'm having enough trouble sorting out the various "quirks."

Still appreciating the help. The finished panos are 20-25MB so I still get a spinning icon for a brief time when using krpano alone to convert to Flash. But nothing with PT or PTP. Hmmmmmm??? And I forgot, I can't check for the "Sequencing Icon" while playing back from the server - no license yet. B...
