Oops! Yes I do have 'pause autorotation on opening' checked. Thanks very much for explaining that. Brilliant!

[SOLVED] Toggling on Floorplan stops autorotation of panos

Using the show/hide floorplan control on the Classic Control Bar to toggle on the floorplan halts the autorotation of panoramas.

I have also made a simple button to toggle on and off the floorplan with the same result. As soon as you toggle to show the pano, it stops rotating.

How to get a floorplan to load automatically with a group

I'm creating a vt of several houses - the panos for each villa are in its own group. Basically each group is a villa with several panos and its own floorplan. Is there a way to get the floorplan for a group to load automatically when that group (villa) is selected? The first floorplan, or whichever ...

Do large numbers of groups/panoramas slow down loading time?

I am new to PTP2 RC2, am about to create a tour and was wondering if including a large numbers of groups and panoramas will slow down the tour's loading time? I have in mind 5 groups with a total of 33 panos. Is it better to create more tours with less groups and panos to ensure faster load or doesn...

Hi Andrew,

Thanks very much for your response. I think I'll go with the PTP 2.x upgrade for my current project. Is there a list of the new features anywhere? Thanks.

Is there a way to create an html link to a specific panorama ?

I was wondering if there is a way to create an html link to a specific panorama in a virtual tour. My tour has 12 panoramas and I'd like to be able to open a specific panoramas (virtualtour0, virtualtour1 etc) from a webpage. Does anyone know whether this is possible, and perhaps give me some pointe...

This would be a wonderful feature for the tours I am building too - so that users can go to individual panoramas directly.

Hi UK Pano, Thanks for your observations. Yes, I guess at times we forget how beautiful the scenery is around here! I will move the hotspot on the far right of the Fort Amsterdam scene (the fort is actually at the extreme edge of the image, but will move the hotspot slightly, and change the colour o...

Comments on new tour and load time, etc.

I have just uploaded this new Panotour virtual tour and would appreciate feedback about it. In particular about the loading time, the layout, hotspots and other elements. This is my first really big virtual tour. http://www.360sxm.com/panotour/ The files are all set to jpeg quality 9. I wonder if th...

Changing the look of the panotour map icon

I want to change the way the panotour map icon looks. Does anyone know if it is possible to locate and replace the file ptmaps_open.png? After it has been generated it shows up in the builddata/graphics folder, but I would like to replace the file I will create so that it always generates it. Hope t...

The tour only continuously displays on one panorama

I'm new at Panotour so this may be a really stupid question, but I have a vt of 6 panos. The tour starts with the first one, rotates 360 degrees and just keeps going... it never moves on the next pano. If I click on the thumbnails it will go to the next pano, but it is not automatic. Is there somewh...

I still don't get the intricacies of Cube Face Size and the Cutting Size settings - how they work ... Is there somewhere it is possible to access some info about this?

No, I did not choose the 'Embed all data' nor the 'Embed xml files' options. Does embedding or not affect how fast the pano loads?

Tour takes too long to load

I am a newbie... As a test I have created a tour with a single spherical panorama (0.98 MB) but it takes forever to load. Is there a way to improve the loading time or to improve the way it looks while loading? These are the project properties: http://www.seandesign.net/fortlouis1/projectproperties....
