xml coding for thumbnails closed by opening VT?

Hi all! Some weeks ago there was a big thread on the default behavior of map and thumbnails under the title "APT 1.1.0 beta 7 - map - default behaviour". It was mentioned that the default behavior of both can be changed in the xml coding... I want the thumbnails to be closed when the VT opens and to...

I use an information button too in the tour for the same reason, but I just use it as a hotspot icon and then link the .jpeg with the instructions to it. No need to then edit the .xml... Would this work for you too? I could look into the .xml for you to look up the code it uses;- just let me know if...

Great information guys, thank you! Since we had to move fast on this one I decided to use a html template custom created - 1280x800 with a graphite border around it... Looks alright and client is happy. They voted against the standalone flashplayer option, afraid that people -if they have to install...

you can also use this solution, it's not so clean but it can solve your urgent problem :) 1- create a folder on your DVD and put inside the autorun.exe from this archive http://www.doms.net/scripts/autorunf.zip 2- put your swf with the XML file on the same folder, rename them to: index.swf and inde...

Wow, thanks! You mention "(you can put it on full screen mode)" after your suggestion to embed into html;- how do I do that? Because having it opening up in a little screen just doesn't look right... If it could straight away open up full screen html would be perfect! It would be great if you can fi...

Edit html template

G'day... Ages ago I made my own html-template, added it to the templates folder of APT in program files of windows and all worked sweet. Now I'm trying to do that again (APT beta 6) but am no longer allowed to save in that folder - only permitted to administrator. If I safe it somewhere else and the...

Does it matter which Flashplayer is used??

Hi all! Urgent question... (though I guess all questions are urgent, aren't they...). We made a promotional production featuring a property. The production is burned on a DVD with an auto play menu and one of the elements is a virtual tour (16 360's). The button 'play virtual tour' is linked to the ...

Hi guys, just jumping in for a moment... As for the replacement of images/panos after alterations; when you safe a project in APT it essentially safes the paths to the images within this project. Every time you open the project it loads those images from the safed paths, same with the render process...

Thanks guys... I exported the project again, now without embedding the .xml files and that seems to have solved the problem. No black screens anymore and besides, - the .xml files are now available for whatever I can do with them. I also had a look at the plugins - they look very interesting but I h...

Black screen... help?!

Hey you all! I'm using beta 5 of AP tour under Windows 7 and am getting now radomly black screens in my tour. It's a large tour of about 40 360 panos featuring a walking track and includes close-up images and videoclips as well. Seems to me the problem started after adding the video clips - but am n...

Hi John... Yes, you can indeed design your own html template (I've done it in Dreamweaver) and safe this file in the system folder of APT (for me c:/program files/kolor/autopano tour (or autopano giga 2)/templates/html). I actually opened one of the stadard templates in Dreamweaver, made my adjustme...

Hi Anna, as far as I'm aware the html file is automatically exported if you choose for any of the html templates... It is also relatively easy to create your own html template, drop it the template folder of AP Tour and then choose it in the listbox of the AP Tour interface. I can't remember if the ...

Textstyle template adjustments?

G'day again! I'm joyfully exploring the new APT (beta 5) and come across the new text presentation marking the tooltips. There are two templates given; black shadow and white shadow. Both however are not nearly as beautiful and clear as the 'old' AP Giga font (my opinion). I saw I can access the .xm...

No rotation on pano?

Hi all! I'm trying to make a pano to not rotate at all (both horizontal as well as vertical). Most of our tours will start with a map with the layout of the tour - with hotspots linking to little 'sub-tours'. I can't get this 'map-image' to just stand still - obviously the width and height of the im...

Nadir Patch?

Sorry, I've posted this question last night in one of the older threads but I can't remember where and so I can't find the answer - if there was one. So again: I keep seeing the term 'Nadir' and 'Nadir Patch'... I have no idea however what 'Nadir' is... :|

Anyone willing to fill me in? Thanks!
