Re: DIY motorised pano heads

Somewhere buried here in some thread I mentioned my MiniPanoBot already :-) http://panografie.klaffehn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/22.jpg Some Videos showing it in action can be seen on youtube, just search MiniPanoBot. Here is a link where you can see the building steps http://www.roboternetz.de...

Re: once again - for the 12th time:

Hi!
Just want to say that some programs put META data not in the image files but in xmp files instead, so maybe those xmp files where not included in you ZIP file?
That could explain the differences ...

Cant zoom with mousewheel

Hi, I just played with the PTP 2 beta and build a simple tour with navbuttons, rest at default settings, but when I open the finished tour in IE10 or FF24 I cant use the mousewheel to zoom in and out? The zoom buttons on the navbar work.

Did I miss a setting somewhere?

Thanks,

Re: change folder name, then links are broken

Hi!
You can also open the .pano file with a text editor (i.e. Notepad++) and 'search&replace' the old foldername with the changed one.
@Klaus: I think you have mistaken Autopano with PanoTour here :-)

Idea on a boring friday : Merge Panoramas

Hello! During my lunch break I had an idea how I could use a panorama at home : Painting my very small toilet room (1,5mx1,2m and 3,4m high)with a panorama of a wide open sky or cathedral or something above the head, like the 'trick-of-the-eye' images. By thinking about how to get the images right, ...

Hi!
Windows 7 64bit with Firefox 23.01, wants confirmation for Java, looks really nice!

One Problem : when scrolling the page, the image flickers black, also happens in IE10.

@Hans : Yes, I see what you mean, but looking at that from a (amatuer) programmer site, I think something like that should happen in the software : Load images -> image corrupt -> give error 'image corrupt' Load images -> decompress for checkpoint detection -> request RAM -> OS says 'no more there' ...

Well, I have to agree that at least APG should give an error if something does not work, so the user will know that there's a problem. Just doing nothing is annoying, and just crashing also :-) My eventlog gives an errorcode pointing to a heap corruption. @Hans: outputting an error would be nice, be...

Hi! I'm a bit afraid to post something in this emotionally explosive thread, but ... I have 102 images (8MP JPEG, from Powershot a90is), it's 34 positions with 3 images at every position. On my main PC (Intel I5, 32GB RAM, Win7 64bit) I can throw them into APG, create stacks of 3, and hit detect at ...

Hi! Windows 7 is multilanguage designed, so the real path for i.e. the user profile is always the same in every language, but windows translates it. In my german windows I can see a Folder 'Programme', but in fact it is a link to 'program files', 'Benutzer' is 'Users'. Switching the language changes...

[PTP 1.8 WIN7 X64] error creating a tour after setting FTP export

Hi,

I suddenly got a strange problem :
I set up the FTP export in PTP and got an error stating 'cant create c:\virtualtour0.jpg'
Now even if I just want to save the tour to my harddrive I get this error, no matter what path I enter.

I'll try to reinstall PTP now.

Hi!
It looks like the panorama viewer cant find all files, is this tour uploaded to a webserver or did you run it from your lokal harddrive? krpano dont like special characters and spaces in its filenames, maybe export the tour to another (short) path like d:\tour.

It tries to trace the border of the object you put your marker in and uses/dont uses that area while blending, as far as I understand. Like antighost, but you say what to keep.

Hallo,
das sieht, soweit ich das erkennen kann, so aus, als würde die Tour lokal aufgerufen (file://users....), da mag er' glaube ich' keine Leerzeichen und keine Sonderzeichen im Pfad.

Entschuldige .-) Aaalso : Was weiàŸt Du denn bereits? Wenn man so ein fertiges Panoramabild hat, wie man es mit Autopano Pro z.B. erzeugen kann, dann sieht das erstmal so aus. Hi! I think, Klaus meant those pink borders, see my screenshot. And I think it would be a good idea to limit the zoom to 100%, so you cant zoom in so much that you see single interpolated pixels.
