Re: How to set Render Standard Values

Dear Olivier, I am afraid your Method does not work on OSX 10.13.3 (and Versions before). It doesn't matter if I fill in the values as with your method. For each new Render Window Autopano keeps ignoring the settings set with your Method and comes up with the Window not set on the Values I have choo...

How to set Render Standard Values

Dear AutoPano Pro Team, using AutoPano Pro 64bits 4.2.3. I was wondering how to preset the values in the Render Dialogue (see Image below). I'd like for example to preset - Output Size 100% - Format Tiff, 16bits, ZIP Compression, 300 dpi, and do NOT want to set these values each time I render a pano...

Dear Klaus,

the last five Timelapse VR's - the first one is just for newbies (there is a surprising amount of people which have never seen a VR nor used it.

I split them up as om first instance I did a long one where all were incorporated, but such a file is just too big.

All the best,
Chris

readjustable panorama size

hi, just some usability requests... First, I don't know if this has already been asked for or if I oversaw it somewhere in Panotour Pro's GUI, but is there a way to readjust the size of the exported panorama of a VR not only in terms of JPG quality but also on pixel image size (length x width synchr...

papywizard on iOS5, Android?

Hi there, recently been to Chile on assignment for a project with ESO at Paranal (2600 a.S.l. m) and ALMA (5000 m a.S.l), lurking around a MacbookPro w/Papywizard and the Merlin with ursa minor bluetooth interface. Great combo to do Allsky starry sky images. The Merlin was often also in TL use contr...

TimeLapse Project "Black Hole Sun" on NAT GEO

Hello Guys, been a bit silent from my side for a while as I had a knee injury, which didn't allow for much footage taking lately (however cutting and editing), but I am back again. As a spin-off to a article for a german nature magazine about mountains and night skies, I started timelapsing last fal...

Merlin 1x right pan/left pan without up/down pan in tracking mode

Hi Folks, there might be a trick to have the Merlin doing a Pan at 1x tracking without the corresponding up or down pan - means horizontal 1x pan only. Found that at the TimeScapes.org Forum recently: "With the controller in tracking mode it moves at 1x speed on its own with no buttons pressed. By s...

Hi Klaus! thx :) As I cannot simulate stop-motion-stop yet with my Merlin (preset import problem, thanks to MediaVets for the tip, will try that) and the Cable for the D700 is on it's way (should be in within a week), I can only guess that it is mainly a difference regarding total shooting time. Whe...

Hi Guys, looks like the MX2 Arduino device (part of a cool Dolly System) here can control a Merlin / Orion mount for continuous AND stop-motion-stop TimeLapse... Klauss, you are right for "blurred" parts of the individual picture, but if your end results is a "motion" picture in 1080p HD you don't see the blurr and the video has no "flikkering" also without any correction ! ;) This is a huge gain of time in the "post production" !!! :) The movements appears...

To Klaus. Both techniques "Continuous Motion" & "Shoot-Move-Shoot" are used in Timelapse depending the subjects. While I like the Idea of Stop-Motion-Stop TimeLapse, in my case it is not appropriate, because I need continuous motion of the Merlin from Point A to B at sidereal 1° per 4 minutes speed, for a given degree of horizontal panoramic move (eg 180°, 270° etc). Timelapse usually is shot per stop-motion....
