I am trying to stitch a a very odd image. It is a featureless wall (concrete) shot with a 300mm lens (FX) 367 images in all, Shot with motorized pano rig. The xml file is of no help because for some reason there is one less image in xml that actual images. That a side, I have been trying different o...

Re: Full Preview and rendered image difference.

Sory - i can´t see any sense it that!? Why woulnd´t you be able to use a tripod and a manual head or even a motorized head via a tethered controller? best, Klaus[/quote] Hello Klaus, I was using a tethered (you can see the rig at other end) Panoneed. But for some reason the controller went crazy 99%...

Re: Full Preview and rendered image difference.

Thanks for the input. Shooting by hand was not a choice but rather a lack of options. This location is very close to a high power communications antenna array . The only electronic thing that worked was the camera. This pano was a reference shot to show client why he does not have his real pano. 70 ...

Full Preview and rendered image difference.

I am working with a hand held series of images. I get a acceptable result when viewed using full preview but default rendered pano is not the same. Any thoughts ?

Thanks

The only way I have found was to use the dehaze plugin in Autopano. It creates s set of dehazed images but with no control , just "autommatic" .
Well better than nothing I guess.

A little dissapointed from the Kolor staff, no replies, no comments nothing..

Weight limit ?
External power supply ?
Does it record X/Y coordinates for use like Papywixard for Autopano Giga ?

Looking for industrial Panotour with imbeded video.

Hello all,

I am trying to find if anyone has made an industrial Panotour with imbedded video. By industrial I mean a factory or some other "working" environment. There are beautiful tours here but mostly tourist type locations.

Thanks :)

Papywizard Fail on shooting

PW v2.0.0-1 on Win XP and an Asus EeePc Everything workds as it should except if I enable the data option, I get a Fail as soon as I try to shoot. If the data option is off, it will shoot correctly. I made sure the path to the saving file was ok. Checked the time/date formats were correct. I uninsta...

giga pano (cylender) how to view it

I am putting a large cylinder pano and our first few test were great as far a stitching goes.
Now I want to be able to show them on mobile devices such as iphone and tablets (Android).
Seems Krpano have some solutions for this, are there any other options ?

The D7000 can hold two SD cards. 128 gb being I think the current limit. So 256 gb is a 600$ option :-)

files to hard drive

I have been making progressively larger and larger pano with a Nikon D7000,Panogear and Papywizard. I am now at a point where I need to record the imaged directly to PC (tethered).
The search did not turn up anything, so I ask here.
Thanks,
C

:D ok seems to have worked. Not sure where the bug was, but it works.
I can see my shared folders on my LAN on the Nokia but can't move images or the VR data to the workstation.
I feel like the old C-64 or Apple+ days... been around for a while :-)
Anyone remember the Timex-Sinclair?

You guys are the best, I will give it a go to see why the older PW was installed. You mentioned something about a plugin for a print screen type application. Do you have a name, I had a look at the "possible installs" nothing in any names jumped out as a clear choice. Thank for being patient, true a...

Thanks for the list. Tried them all and still no life from the PWizard (ver 1.6.1) So I gave up and re installed the whole OS. That seemed to do the trick (my third full install) but now right 1/8 of screen is double and hard to read. Entering numbers is somewhat of a hit or miss operation. I am jus...

My mistake not saying which BT unit.
- as far as I recall, all that was asked on the Nokia 800 setup was a four digit I'd number.
- yes it is the blue single that came with the Panogear/Merlin.

Thanks :-)

Papywizard on a Nokia N800

Trying to install PW on Nokia N800.

The FAQ says to flash to latest OS2008 , I guess the Diablo OS on the tablet is not the correct one ? Not too often a retro-grade is called for ...
May sound like a dumb question, but I am an Android user.

Thanks,
C
