Re: Focus stacking with Autopano Giga?

Very sad...
Combine ZP crashes all the time (win7 64bit), and the other tool is too expensive.

Today, I compared the result from 2.5 to 2.6
It was done with similar settings in both versions. The rendered pano has 92% of its original size.
Please see the 100% crops.
There are no smooth lines in the 2.6 result...

Can somebody verify the problem??

but after viewing at actual pixels or even just 100% in photoshop, it was a blurry, pixelated mess. My rendering settings were set to 40x60in, 300DPI which should result in a highly detailed image. This was about 6% of the actual panoramic size. Michelle Hello, unfortunately I have similar results....

Hello Mediavets,
unfortunately its not yet finished.
But you can look at this tour for example: http://www.kolor.com/forum/t13012-full-frame-wooden-xviii-century-church
Its the same problem, as in my own tour.

I use the newes flash player in FF and IE.
It only seems to occur in FF.

Stuttering motion in Firefox

Hello, I have a big problem with the display of virtual tours: Only in fullscreen mode I have a smooth motion. When I move in non-fullscreen, the motion is very stuttering. It looks like a CPU-overload. But the tour needs only 60% CPU... Its especially in Firefox. (I use the generic html template) I...

zoom when jump to next pano

Hello,
there was a zoom-effect in Autopano Tour, when I click to a hotspot and jump to another pano.
But now in Panotour this effect is lost. Am I blind? Or was this removed from Panotour? How can I get the effect back?

The thing with the distorted distortions sounds comprehensible.

I uploaded the original files here: www.foto-chemnitz.de/downloads/panotest_undistort.zip

Hello, thank you very much for all your tests!!!! Very informative! I forgot to say that I corrected the lens distortions in Photoshop Lightroom before stitching. Now I used the original uncorrected pictures with much better results. Does somebody know the reason for this? Maybe a double correction ...

Hello Ma,
Why are 221 pictures too many? To get a very high resolution, I need a lot of pictures...
I shot it with a Canon EF 70-200 f4 L IS. I think that this lens is one of the best for me. Which lens would you recommend me?

Hi kzaugg,
yes, these are 221 pictures.
It took about 1 hour to shoot the pictures with short breaks because of cloudy sky.
And the stitching took about 15 hours on a 2 x 2,1 GHz Notebook. Unfortunately the APG beta doesnt work at the moment with my 2 x 4 GHz desktop PC.
