Wow! Beautiful imagery, lovely web interface, natural sound, stunning location. Looks like you had a few long days with early starts and late finishes. All part of the fun. I thought some of the places where you must have had to remove your shadow were well done e.g. on wooden planks when there was ...

Does the amount of RAM make a difference for Autopano? Going from 8GB to 16GB on my MBP made a huge difference, reduced stitching time by about 40%. Having more in a desktop may help, but it depends on the OS and Autopano if it can actually use it.

Funny how Apple has now become 'The Man'! I'll just point out a few things, before ducking! None of these mean I approve of the current patent system, or all the directions Apple is now taking, because I don't, but I find the current black/white view on Apple intriguing. 1. Many companies cross lice...

The map seems to work ok to me.

Yes, HDR can get tired pretty quick in some uses. I'm seeing it used a lot in portraiture at the moment and it has a certain appeal. It's just another tool to have in the box:-)

You could give each tour a numbered name rather than a descriptive name, with the number incrementing each month so you will know what the next name/humber is in advance e.g. January 2012 = 2012-01.swf February 2012 = 2012-02.swf March 2012 = 2012-03.swf etc There are probably cleverer code based so...

Can it be done with with Javascript (or Actionscript) in the browser, rather than Javascript (or Actionscript) in KRPano as a plugin? Have you had a look through the interface example on the the krpano site http://www.krpano.com/examples/interface/#top In particular: Overlay masks http://www.krpano....

I've had similar problems in the past. In most ftp clients you can set upload permissions in the programs preferences/options, the default permissions are sometimes off.

I use Transmit and set the default via Preferences>Rules to 644 for ftp.

I love the 'boys' football room! And your interface is elegant and clean. Personally I'm not a fan of nadir patches, but then I shoot a lot of landscapes so often want a more natural look. re. comments above on exposure, it is slightly unusual to see such bright windows now, but if it was very brigh...

My new site dedicated to virtual tours - moosooboo.com

Hi all It's been a while since I have been on the forums, life and work seems to have been keeping me busy. I've had a bit of time to myself recently, so have put together a site dedicated to all things panoramic and virtual tours made with Panotour Pro and krpano. It's all my own work at the moment...

UK landscape tours and panos

Hi All I've started a gallery of my panos and tours at: http://www.tours.mikemcfarlane.co.uk/ The basic pano or tour is created in Panotour Pro, then I'm adding to the XML with various krpano plugins (I really like Google Maps, sounds and e-cards) to get a bit more functionality. I'm particularly in...

Hi Yes, autorotation, full screen and hotspots should all work. Trying to be non-inflammatory here, but (proprietary and cpu hungry) Flash is dying, even Adobe are speaking very publicly about (open standard and lower CPU) HTML5 tools and what people want. I'm pretty pleased that krpano is going the...

Things we like!

Hi all Sometimes it is hard as a supplier to know what features customers actually like in the present product (so are worth keeping) and it can also be a bit demoralising when all you get are problems and suggestions for enhancement. So, this post is, give Kolor some love! Personally, as a tour pro...

Hi Thanks for all the info above, I will have to digest it next week when I have more time. A few comments on the fire: - needs a surround to properly border the brickwork. It would just contain the image. - the background brickwork is too bright. It should be sooty. - the flames prob actually need ...

Hopefully Kolor will add in better sound/video support, and ensure that the code produced is also targeted correctly to multiple devices. Mike I have previously suggested an audio hotspot type. This would allow the user to place directional sounds and select audio control parameters via the PTP Hot...

I hope this helps. Kind regards Mike Not as much as would the ability to specify a sound on/off button as part of the nav bar via themes from within PTP! It's a pretty basic requirement and I think Kolor should have provide this functionality from the outset. I hope they will add it soon. Of course...

You'll find stuff like that in some of the panos on this site - for example, the first example on this page has subtle animated candle flames for example: http://www.regal360.com/index.php/vt-projects/1-latest-news/83-the-majestic-hearst-castle.html Hi Andrew Yes, very subtle, as opposed to the ful...
