Re: Provide Support for Photosphere XMP Metadata

Strange... When I look at the same photosphere - I see none of those issues.

What browser are you using?

I'm using Chrome Version 34.0.1825.4 dev-m on a Win8.1 PC.

Re: Provide Support for Photosphere XMP Metadata

Not sure. I just stitch in APG, check in DevalVR and patch nadir & zenith in Pano2VR

Re: Critical error: Too many pictures?

I've just had the same error on a pano that I wouldn't have expected issues on before. 80 images, bracketed in 5 stacks caused a problem; but deleting some of the extra images I probably didn't need dropped it to 55 images, and it passed.

Aah. I fell at the first hurdle. Pushed through as suggested by Briger and Hans, and as you suggested - it worked (apart from the usual added tax surprise)!

Thanks for the guidance.

I'm having trouble getting the right price. When I click on the upgrade link in the email I see that I qualify for the €79 upgrade price, but then when it gets through to the store - it shows me the full price of €199.

Help!

Thanks.

Looks like a group on the Panorama Photographer's community in G+ have figured out how to scrape the XMP meta data from a photo sphere enabled photo, and paste it into another https://plus.google.com/communities/104436470154925775383 Plus Phil Harvey has coded some of it into the latest ExifTool htt...

Hi guys, not really sure if this is the right forum or I should place this in the hardware section, but here goes Due to a resent back injury, I am condemplating down sizing my camera kit, Canon 1-series with heavy L-lenses. No need for a back injury. MFT and the OM-D is the answer to anyone wantin...

Eek. Both ideas sounded really complex. I'm still a bit of beginner at working APT / krpano. I came to the conclusion that I would probably not get any sort of dynamic overlay to work on top of the openstreet or bing maps, so fell back to a static image map (top right). So - here's my first ever pan...

Map with track / route overlay?

Is it possible to include a map with an overlaid trail - i.e. a line from a kml or gpx file (or even manually crafted) overlaid on the map (openstreetmap, bing, google or other)?

I've looked at all of the possible plugins on krpano, and none seem to provide the option to include a trail.

I'd love to see this capability included in AutoPano Giga. Yes - I know Photoshop can generate these, but there's no flexibility - so you only get one option. The best tool I've found so far (for tinkering with options and generating different views) is PhotoBrush http://www.mediachance.com/pbrush/ ...

Difficult to visualize what you're trying to do here, but I would guess that you probably need to run both HDR and non-HDR through AutoPano in the same pano, but render out as separate layers (probably by grouping layers manually, and setting color correction per-layer). Then create the HDR in a sep...

In your example it would appear that the Gigapan Import wizard did not give sufficient priority to matrix postion over detected CPs when stitching. Perhaps it was 'fooled' by moving clouds? I'll bet on this one. Moving clouds created wrong CP that put an unsolvable constrains on the matrix of const...

Tis true... but you have to give these guys a break on this sort of thing. They are a tiny French company with limited resources. I'd be more than happy to contribute translations of some of the wiki manual pages into English (as long as I had someone from AutoPano check them over for technical accu...

Afaik - i might be wrong, there´s no hard information - APG doesn´t handle "real" HDR nor produce "real" HDR. It does kind of fusion. And you can export sets of panos for being made HDR in Photomatix. That used to be the model before v2.5 - but now we've got this, which looks like real HDR to me ...

My sugestion (as always): process your bracketed set in Photomatix first, use tonemapping in PM and stitch the tonemapped images afterwards. Sure - of course that's an option - but the main reason I bought Giga was to get access to the HDR capabilities. Given the number of options in the software a...

Question on color correction for HDR mode

Hi guys, I'm trying to stitch a 360x180 of a scene with lots of light and dark using HDR to create a good looking image. Using exposure fusion to generate a LDR image, using the instructions here worked well - and generated the first image you see below. Exposure fusion is indeed awesome! http://www...

Easiest way to copy transparency mask from one image to another?

I've just started experimenting with HDR and 360x180 panos using a NN3. Masking out the pano-head is pretty easy in Photoshop for single images, but it gets a little tiresome when you have to create the same mask for 3 or 4 images in a row. I'm not a Photoshop expert but this seems to work. * Open f...

How much of a novice? Well, I had to look up "NPP"! I'm not sure how practical it would be to construct and carry around a device for rotating the phone or compact camera about the appropriate axis. But as a start, I would add step zero to my workflow ... 0) Remember to rotate about the axis of the...
