its to bad we can't use the autobracket feature of dslrremote with the plugin. i tried setting the user bracketing setting in the plugin to 0 and using the autobracket in dslrremote with 7 shots but the mount was going to the next position before it was done. i have used the generic tethered plugin ...

Hi Frederick,

thanks

looks like the problem was operator error. i should have known when i saw exposure compensation that i could not be in manuel mode. i guess this limits the exposure range to that off my camera for exposure compensation + or - 2 stops . i guess the benifilt is you have access to other functions from ...

hi John,

did you also try a wider range and get the same result? Is it that much harder to do a script for dslr remote. that will shoot whatever range i need with no hicupps?

Thanks

hi Henry, fooled with it this weekend a bit. i didn't have my panohead so i ran papy wizard in sim mode. I think the problem occurs when the ev range is too high. I would do 5 shots at 1 step each but if i put 1 2/3 steps it would not complete the sequence at each position. It even started shooting ...

just to confirm - the top image is of what you are keeping and the bottom is the other end of the cable. Yes, exactly. Is the latch feature closer to the table? hard to see with something clear. Ok, all works fine :) Here is some explanations for those who want to build themselves the cable... 1) buy the 4201 Tronisoft module: http://www.tronisoft.com/4201.php 2) get a phone cable with a RJ11 jack (4 wires), or a modem cable with a RJ12 (6 wires; external ones are unused). Cut a short leng...

BTW, is DSLR Remote able to modify the exposure bias? For the intelligent bracketing feature I plan to do, I need to take a picture with default settings, analyse the picture, and then take one or more additional pictures, with different exposure bias... I don't know but they have a free demo to do...

']Hmm, I was thinking about Papywizard replacing DSLR Remote in a workflow... if you already have the logic to make timelapse (I assume it has - you can "tell" the camera to shoot when and with what delay, right?) - I don't see why would you need DSLR Remote? dslr remote allows bracketing over a wi...
