Re: Looking to hire Autopano Pro expert to stitch 24 shots

Thanks for the great support once again! Olivier's settings worked like a charm and the project stitched perfectly.

Looking to hire Autopano Pro expert to stitch 24 shots

I have a project that is not stitching well for me and I require some more expert help. 24 images, the final image is about 60,000X30,000 pixels. It is a simple room setting but there are a number of straight lines in the shot that are not lining up well, and I need perfect clean, straight lines, an...

Re: Getting less warp in planar projections with Autopano Pr [SOLVED]

Thanks Antoine - that helps a lot! I was not aware of those controls. Now the APP version looks much the same as the Pshop version.

Re: Getting less warp in planar projections with Autopano Pr [SOLVED]

Thanks Mediavets - that certainly helps, although it means reducing my expectations to something realistic, just not what I had desired :) I guess people are just cropping their panos a lot more than I realized. Still - it doesn't really help with why the curvature that was introduced into the upper...

Re: Getting less warp in planar projections with Autopano Pr [SOLVED]

Thanks for the reply Klaus, but I did try all of those and it doesn't really solve the problem sufficiently. Particularly with the interior that has the badly curved horizontals in the ceiling - the horizontal line tool did not remove the curvature. I have done pretty well with most panos I've creat...

Getting less warp in planar projections with Autopano Pro [SOLVED]

Sorry if this is super newb question. I've used APP for years, but rarely for this time of thing (mostly 360's). Trying to make some simple pano stitches using APP and I am having a lot of trouble getting nice clean images without heavy distortion on the ends of the long side. See the images below. ...

Thanks GURL and DrSlony - I will give that a try.

DrSlony: I was anticipating creating the HDR images first, but it would be nice if we could load single images into APP anyway as that would make it easier when just using it for perspective corrections (which I do from time to time).

Single 180degree fisheye to spherical?

Hi all - I did some searching but couldn't find an answer: is it possible to use APP to convert a single 180degree fish-eye shot into a spherical map (i.e 360X180)? I know it's not ideal for quality, but for quicker and easier lighting skydomes for CG purposes I think they would be fine. (the idea w...

Warping one pic to match another

I'm using Autopano Pro to merge various plates of a location shot. These were not shot on a proper head so there are perspective issues. I'd like to actually use one shot as an 'anchor' and just use Autopano to warp the other shots to fit it. Is there a way to 'lock' one image and have the rest opti...

Thanks for that, but maybe I should have been more clear though: I don't want to use hdr's or blended images, bracketing was an example - but I often have various plates to composite together where there are subtle variations in content (say different poses for a person, or different lighting rigs o...

Replacing images?

Hi - Just wondering if it is possible to replace images in existing APP working files. I used to use a different pano tool which made that very easy, but cannot figure it out in APP. I often need to warp/correct single images, and I have a work around for that, but if I need to warp another copy of ...
