Ok, to answer everyone's questions: 1. I took the picture using the landscape setting on my camera, standing on the top of a cliff overlooking the city. This seems to be big mistake #1 because the f stop and shutter speed are all over the place. You can kind of see where the sun was in the sky becau...

Hazy Panos

So some of the panos I take would look great if not for a kind of haze on the pano (full size http://myhollandtravels.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/20080927-panorama-of-aachen-from-hill-3-big.jpg ): http://myhollandtravels.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/20080927-panorama-of-aachen-from-hill-3.jpg I assum...

I see what you mean about the tower of pisa... When I'm standing, looking up at a buildng, is there any good technique so that the pano doesn't get that kind of warped look? I had to straighten the towers, on just default settings there was a bulge in the middle and the towers bent in together in a ...

Kölner Dom

Hi, So one of the reasons I bought autopano pro was when I end up across the street from a building that would require a helicopter to get a view with the entire building in camera, I can take a bunch of pictures and get one big picture. This pano of the Kà¶ln Dom is made up of 14 shots I made using...

Well I kept trying to generate the panorama from 16 bit TIFFs, and render as a 16 bit TIFF. Then I'd open it in windows preview or the GIMP and it just wouldn't be viewable, or it would in black and white with lines running through. I guess this must be some feature of a 16 bit TIFF that autopano us...

I have an Olympus EVolt 510 that I used without a tripod. I actually took two images using my camera's "feature" for panoramas, and it was so distorted I posted on thephotoforum.com, they suggested autopano, and I started playing around with the features. I used a very small focal length -- 14mm (th...

You're right. I took 16 bit TIFs and made more 16 bit TIFs and kept changing settings... Wow, I feel dumb....

Panos don't render like they look

Hi, So I'll be using autopano and I'll see something that looks like this: http://myhollandtravels.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/preview.jpg Then I'll get happy and when I try to render I get this: http://myhollandtravels.files.wordpress.com/2008/12/output.jpg What is going on? I've tried changing all...
