But how does APG match the source images with the XML? It appears that the APP/APG Papywizard Import wizard takes no notice of dates and times, but merely uses the sort order of the image filenames to 'match' source images with XML. As far as I can see, the first filename in the sort order gets ass...
OK, v1 is done you can find it here: http://www.anderson-mark.com/paxw/ PAXW stands (catchily) for "PapyWizard AEB XML" Wrangler (told you it was catchy!) This version removes brackets > 1 Any issues, e-mail me the brefore and after XML Regarding the 1-N, I guess I'm not clear how APG uses the data ...
Got it working locally. Will deploy to my web server tonight and see if it still works :-)
The 1-N, may be a bit trickier as I need to figure out how to pass N to the XSL transform. I can hack it temporarily by having XSL's that do 1-3, 1-5, 1-5 and 1-9
Hi Guys Hoping to get back into pano's this summer. I love PW but not the nokia) would like a dedicated controller or tablet based solution. I read about the T&C controller. Seems a little expensive (to buy in US$ and ship) I have a few questions for T&C users How much faster is it that PW with Merl...
Is the panoshoot faster than papywizard. My last shoot was close to an hour at sunset so massive light change. I read the T&C controller is faster because it uses jog vs move to?
Looks like a nice product, esp with ability to control from tablet.
You learn something every day! Well, I had a play last night and got it working so that I can upload an XML and transform it. Believe it or not, the thing I'm stuck on is displaying the result. Ideally, I want the user to get a save as dialog, to save the result. Worst case (for v1.0), is to have th...
Found a Microsoft utility to do this too: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21714 Do you fancy making an online tool either to reduce the number of shooting position records in a Papywizard XML data file (N-1) or to increase them (1-N) ? Hi Andrew I could do the XSL stuff pret...
I created a pano and am reasonably happy with it, except for the sky. I've tried a bucnh of filters in CS6 and cannot get rid of the blotchiness in the sjy. Anyone got any suggestion.
Hoping to get back into shooting pano's this summer. There doesn't seem to have been any updates for quite some time. Anyone know current status? Any alternatives out there? (I have Merlin and am based in US). Would be interested in Arduino, iOS or maybe Droid options.
Hi Klaus thanks for reply. I'm shooting outdoor panos, just hijacked this thread. I did find a much better tutorial this morning on wiki, so will give it another try. My big problem right now is that I can't render anything. Just stops on blending stage or quits with no error (don't know what stage ...
From my testing, I see no benefit in using the PW import. It doesn't seem to use the locations from the camera and still tries to stich based on control point detection, so what's the point of the import. The results I've got are no better than regular stitching. Am I missing something? I was under ...
So I have a pano I rendered last year, but noticed some stitching results I shot it with Merlin head and Papywizard. There were 396 images (3 per position). Full size of pano is 18K x 7K. I tried rendering at about 70%, go to work, come home APG has quit, no messages, no pano Decided to try at 50%. ...
