If the TA adapter was available 3 weeks ago my choice was easy, no matter the extra euro's Same for the N770. If I knew t...

Constant rotating-turntable

newbie-question: for quick panorama-shooting i need constant rotation. is it possible with merlin/orion?. is there a cheaper simpler solution with variable-speeds? maybe for smaller than dslr-cams.

i thought there will be a more sophisticated standard-version too for longer lenses. it seem epic 100 IS this solution. i need a turntable not go-stop-shoot. but go and shooting during rotation. can the merlin do this? my actual display turntable - a cheap display-turntable from MTE.com can only tur...

MARLIN was the shop here in basel-switzerland where i saw canon 5d mk2 and sx1IS(SX100IS) WWW.FOTOMARLIN.CH
but we could not try out contax/yashica-eos-adapter(dslexchange) since canon had only 5 bodies around in europe. too risky.

maybe you are right. i had in mind adapting my zeiss. but using two adapters would increase weight dramatically. maybe i will try canon 450d. i have special tasks where i would need all those advantages. d60 kit is down at 555 chf. tempting but... see my needs.

i had 5d mk2 in my hands last week(preproduction- one of five bodies in europe) and saw samples(snowy/rainy day) printing on new noritsu qss-37hd(640dpi)-printer. fantastic. btw: the same videochip is implemented in sx1 IS(sx100 IS).
