How about Using lines instead of points?

I was thinking about veritcal and horizontal tool in APP and APG. Those are cool. But Those are for completed images, to finetune it. What about having a tool, with something like these images http://hohadesign.com/temp/3.jpg http://hohadesign.com/temp/4.jpg I can easily draw vertical and horizontal...

The major problem with pre-tonemapping each bracketed set is that on the margins between dark and light, such as dark trees against a light sky, there are often ugly halos. These halos don’t match from image to image and can result in blotchy skies. I think an option to 'Stitch all layers with th...

It is outdoor landscape, yes. I took it to experiment with giga. It does have some interest effect having this pano to be 360 180 though, as I planed to took it as bird view, means no standing point. Sky can be replaced with blue later in photoshop. Trying APG 2.5. Cool. it allows manually control p...

I dont know about your work flow. But the way I usually with HDRi Pano is that I tried to make them all to HDR in Photomatrix first, then stitch them together using APG, and bring to photoshop using HDR tuning to finetune the HDR-pano I exported. Hope it help

[Tip] How to stitch images that have so few similarities.

Not sure it would help. But sometimes you might have problems like you cant create control points to link images together. Like these images http://hohadesign.com/temp/3.jpg http://hohadesign.com/temp/4.jpg With the example above, as there are not enough similarity between the 2 images, Auto pano wi...

How much overlap (as a % or image) between images do you think you have? - you really need 25-30%, more than that seldom helps and may make stitching more difficult. Hm. I think I have around 20-25% of each. I do have problem with stiching sometimes, as it might not be enough similarity to be succe...

Well, it seems stuck to me. It doesnt produce any error message however. But I noticed the CPU usage and memory. When It is calculating, The CPU always use up to 90-100% and the same for RAM. When it comes to that phase, the CPU and RAM return to normal, and APG just used ar 80mb of RAM, which I thi...
