Re: WTF?

That bug is complex, and is located in nvidia drivers. Depending drivers version, sometimes we have it, the next time, it is gone. It is a bit of a pain just to proof each drivers for correctness. We have no issues with AMD ... Note: a good workaround is to use "gpu sync" mode only, which ...

Re: Latest Beta 2 is wasting my screen with huge buttons

With that version, we are taking into account the HighDPI mode from windows.
We didn't changed any icons size, it is now your system that does that.
Try to play with that windows setting: https://www.thurrott.com/windows/window ... ay-scaling

Re: Template for Nokia Ozo

Let me step into this discussion: - Autopano Video is a general stitcher which means it can stitch anything. We will leave it this way, as many customer are using our tool to stitch any kind of camera, not only GoPro. Nevertheless, it is not our job to provide a solution for other cameras. If Nokia ...

Re: Autopano is dead, don't bother posting in the Future for

That's not true. Autopano Giga is a strong product which provides the engine behind Autopano Video. Even if the development is slower currently as we concentrating our effort on stitching video, the development continues. We have some nice features lineup for next big version ( aka autopano v5 ). An...

Re: autopano development slowed down since gopro deal?

Yes, you are right, we pushed more on Autopano Video and less on Autopano Pro/Giga. That doesn't mean we are not doing anything on APP/APG.
Currently, we are studying the future, which is the v5.

Re: Which Graphics card is best Gtx 980 or Titan?

No sorry, we don't have accurate benchmarking done recently. On the performance topic: - Support dual gpu for rendering ? Yes, it is on the roadmap, but not high on the list. In fact, people are first asking for network rendering. So, we'll look around that topic first. - APG is not yes GPU accelera...

Re: Advanced 360 Video Processing - Autopano Video

The stitch timeline is exactly about that. It allows to change the template used for stitching along time. So if you need one object to be good stitch, cut a little before, a little after and on that state, create a template that is solving for that object. The software will then interpolate from th...

Re: 4K Support - Export in 2160p

Exporting over 4K cannot be done through h264 as we stay in the specification limits ( we could go over, but that is not documented in the specification which would cause a lot of interoperability issues ). For creating over 4K video, use uncompressed AVI export. No limit there but huge huge files c...

Re: creating a Video Pano, from 3 videos

That's a codec issue. We cannot decode the input video. Try to convert it before using our software in a standard format ( mp4 / h264 / AAC for example )

Re: Panogear c'est fini, Gigapan aussi

Why are you all saying that panogear is finished ?

It is not. We just prevent any sell for the moment until we have again a good and nice experience that includes the panoshoot with the new firmware. We don't want any negative feedback by selling something that is not complete and fully tested.

Re: Kolor was acquired by GoPro -

As I said in the blog ( at the end of the main page, you'll find the news Destiny ;) ), the current product range will continue but at a new scale, of course. Kolor is a professional focused company and within GoPro, we'll continue to act like that. But we are also target the mass market, of course....

Re: Multiple focal length workflow

It cannot be bypassed as it is a limit in the control point detection algorithm.
Nevertheless, if you are okay adding control point manually one by one, then you can stitch.

Re: The new Website Design SUX

I love this thread :) Really. Let share some of my thoughts: - Our old website was really efficient in quick navigation for people that were used to it. But it didn't tell at all what we are really doing as product or expertise. As a clear leader, Kolor has also the role of educating the masses. And...

Re: district court

What a place !
Good work. I appreciated the small fading effect in the title zone of the tour. This is great.
It gets you the impression of a kind of vignetting in the pano zone.
