Re: Aerial Panotour shot on DJI Inspire 1 UAV

Yup, all shot from about 300 feet up from the quad... an aerial Panotour! Hmmm... who else has done this? The Inspire is pretty amazing! I tried renedering the shots in Photomatix and then stitching them in APG... no luck. Then I tried to import and render the raw DNG files in APG alone... also no l...

Re: Aerial Panotour shot on DJI Inspire 1 UAV

Camera on the Inspire 1 can only tilt up 30 degrees so no way to capture the shots to fill the Zenith. Considered putting a logo of the Inspire there but haven't played around with the ver 2 of Panotour yet so not sure if I can. Earlier, I tried a 3 exposure AEB 360x180 pano for a tour but could not...

Aerial Panotour shot on DJI Inspire 1 UAV

Ok, shot a new aerial panoramic virtual tour over the small town of Hondo, NM this evening just before sunset. This is as near to a 360x180 panotour as I could get on the DJI Inspire 1. Rendered in Kolor Auotopano Giga 3.7.1 and Panotour 2.3.

Vincèn - WOW! :D Downloaded the App and it's working pretty damn good. It's not fully capable like papywizard yet but looks very functional. Will have to play with it more and figure how to set the FOV for my lenses and test with my camera mounted. Will definatley mention this app to users of the Me...

Damage to Merlin by home built MX2 to Merling cable

Thought I'd post a warning and some details I discovered the hard way today while building a cable for the MX2 to Merlin (aka Skywatcher, Orion). The photo below shows more details but here is the jest of it: The image and details here are for the standard RJ-11/RJ-14 cable but will apply to the app...

Just an update...... Kolor has followed through in superior customer support and allowed me to purchase APG 2.5 with APT 1.5 for the price of APG 2.0 with Tour. Since APG 2.5 is only a minor upgrade according to Kolor and other posts in this forum, it was sad (and confusing) to hear of the major cha...

Am wondering if I am the only one here having problems with Kolor's new pricing structure and marketing of AutoPano Giga/Tour programs? I was one who downloaded the Demo of Giga 2.5 which came with Tour and was demoing it before the change (I have both which came advertised as one program). After tr...

Hello, I've browsed through the posts here and have to say this is all dissapointing and still confusing. I have been trying the demo of APG 2.0 for a bit now and loved that it included the panotour feature... to me that justified the 199 Euro price which is way more than what I paid here in the USA...

Frédéric, I own a Nokia 800 and want to do the same thing, preload my presets so they show in the preset dropdown menu automatically without me having to load each one everytime. However, I cannot seem to figure out how to access the folder path you listed to access the folder. I tried the file mana...

Jones, thanks for your reply. You mention it is easy to change the number of shots at any given position but I am clueless on how to do that. Would love to tell it to take (for example) 300 shots between point 1 and 2 and then 150 shots between 2 and 3. How would I do that? I believe doing so would ...

Skywatcher and Time Lapse?

Been using my Skywatcher (Merlin/Orion) head for some Pano's but holding off on further Pano use until I can afford to purchase the Autopano program (want it for sperical pano's). Doing a lot of Time Lapse in the mean time and looking for more support here with this head and Papywizard presets. Have...

Don't wait for the Timelapse tab to be activated!!! It is a feature I never implemented, and will never implement, in Papywizard (I removed this tab in the latest releases); timelapse will be a dedicated application, if I have time to write it some day  Frédéric, please write a time lapse...

Jones, first off let me thank you for your hard work on your time lapse preset for Papywizard. Time Lapse is the primary reason why I built my rig and am hoping more people get involved in writing something to help us non-programers out here. Here is a link to a short video I made using the Skywatch...
