Re: Mac OS X Sierra - Color Bug with Canon RAW files [SOLVED]

This is the same problem I have but have termed it "Posterization". I have been previously able to process RAW files from Canon Cameras and Sony. Now the RAW files from the Canon 6D and the Sony A7 II cannot be processed properly as before. What needs to be done is that APGiga should open ...

Posterization of Sony and Canon RAW images in Autopano Giga

I suddenly developed a stubborn issue in APG 4.2.3 While jpgs stitch normally, RAW images are posterized even at default settings. Is it possible that APG has saved some profile it thinks I should have and this gets assigned to all RAW images or what? I have been using Autopano since the earliest ti...

It has changed between 2.0 and 2.5. Before : Layer would means include images Now : Layer means, also add sub-panoramas in case you did create new layers in panorama editor. It's checkable only if you have stacks or did manually create a sub-panorama. What you probably want is to include individual...

Levels box grayed out in Render Dialog box

I normally render to Photoshop files containing the stitched layer as well as all the component layers used and modified in the panorama. Each layers has a mask. So adjusting the output in Photoshop is possible using one's own choices, for example, which picture a particular feature comes from. Righ...

Hi, I have two questions about manual stitching in Autopano Giga 2.51 on an Intel 2.66 GHZ Dual Core Xenon Mac running 10.6 and using a mouse with no scroll wheel. 1. I can't get an image to move with the mouse. i don't want to change the yaw, pitch or roll, rather, move an unlinked image to its co...

Georg and Klaus, Good points! It's precisely this sort of efficiency that makes automatic control of the head so attractive. I know I take far to many shots. I have to really pair down the redundant overlap. With as manual head, gong for extra overlap leads to more chances of nudging the system. Asher

I use the 8mm Sigma fisheye for quick 360 degree sketches of 360 degree panos I might want with higher resolution. I already own 2 Gigapans, the original and the epic. The Gigapan Epic Pro is a hefty verson that handles all the DSLR bodies and lenses well. RRS has a QRP in Arca Swiss style and this ...

Still $425 is a nice price - you could always sell it for more than that I guess. not a bad idea! So I have no risk! Dunno why but I thought I'd read that the Epic Pro had illuminated controls. It does have an illuminates panel, but at an angle, so hard to see from the ground. Worse, the buttons ar...
