Creating a gigapixel collage - 2025 photos - not to be sticthed

Hi, I need to create a 45 x 45 collage - which will be around 175000 pixels in total, so looking for some software that supports creating collages in grid format and outputs to Photoshop large doc format. Does anyone know if it is possible to use autopano giga for this? Key here is that it is not a ...

Thanks for the feedback. Camera settings were manual, including WB. Interpolator settings were bicubic, if this is the setting you were referring to.

strange colour blending

Hi, What do you think would cause the strange, what looks like, colour blending on the left hand side of the arch in this pano I stitched with autopano giga 2.51 ? http://gigapixelparis.com/psm/index.html I imported the pano using epic pro settings. Same issue around the leaf above, which seems to h...

I saw this and liked it, but for sure there are errors. Not sure most people looking at it would spot them though. A good effort.

A great pano for sure. Not shot a 360 with a 50mm, but I think I will try as I like the detail.

I did not know that. When I photographed the ADT I realised there was a lot more detail to the sculptures than I had previously seen when I had simply visited it. Quite beautiful really, but a shame it glorifies war.

@PG Thanks!

You have some nice panos but having to wait for them to finish the load routine is very annoying and stops me looking at more. You should allow the user to interrupt.

a combination of the 2. I have definitely had close to 30 second exposure times and a very boring wait. I have also tried to reduce the time somewhat by jacking up the ISO, but then I have issues with crowd control, i.e. they show up:) As soon as it stops raining I plan to go shoot a few night gigap...

gigapixelparis.com

http://www.gigapixelparis.com - I plan to have around 20 gigapixel photos of various famous Paris landmarks etc, so far there are 4. They were all stitched with Autopano Giga (perhaps except HDV) and used krpano for the rest, including the google map on the first page. I will enhance the site as it...

with 12*68 you should have 816 images, I assume you meant this rather than the 216 you mentioned. I have sometimes paused and retaken shots with the same head due to ppl etc. Just delete the unwanted photos when you are done, it is what I do. Also, I take all my panos in manual focus. I tried AF onc...

Is it not worth deleting specific files relating to specific panos after the pano has finished rendering? I ask just because I now restart APG after rendering a few panos, as previously after a certain number it would run out of free drive space for scratch. Not tried this in 2.5 as already used to ...

mlc - around £500 a piece. However, if money is no object, you may want to look at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-064-OC&groupid=1657&catid=1660&subcat=1669

I recently built a new system based around d 2 ssd drives (6GB sata bus versions) specifically for AP plus PS. AP is now super-fast. I use one drive as the OS and files to load drive, the other as a scratch drive.

I went to the Canon Paris expo and had a quick play with this lens. I asked about the zoom lock feature, which is not actually a zoom lock as far as I understood the response. Rather it locks the available zoom rage to the sensor size for APS-C or H. I used it on the 1DS3 shown in the pic. It was no...

lol, sorry guys, I should tell you that I added the AR Drone to the picture for a little fun! No need to worry about any invasion just yet, there is no way the range is good enough to reach that high, though I guess it is possible to fly it from the top (if you can get it out of the cage). The photo...

Eiffel Tower with 2.0.9 and 2.5b1

I had to do this in 2.0.9 first, then load it into 2.5b1 to render it without error. 2.5b1 would not stitch this without major errors that would take days to fix. 2.0.9 had just a couple of minor errors, that were fixed but the final render came out with a few errors. Once loaded into 2.5b1 it seeme...
