Problem downloading APG/PT from kolor.com...

I've been trying to download the most recent updates from the http://www.kolor.com/download server, but these downloads just keep failing. It drops out after anything from a few megabytes to tens of megabytes... repeatedly.... over that last weeks... I've tried Chrome, Firefox and IDM. All other dow...

Another approach would be to introduce a new type of manual control "points" - or control lines. The user sets them itself exactly on the horizon line in each image, APG considers these points or lines as "on horizon" and trying to make a continuous line of it without any steps. I agree :) This is ...

Right, back on topic. To Alexandre & gang... About these vertical control points... To many of us here, they seem like one of the more obvious ways to combat this specific problem, stepped horizons... And it'll make fixing wiggly horizons a breeze too... Any chance of this in the future? Are you sne...

to Klaus: take a trip to the coast and shoot a pano before you give your opinion on this problem. No need for that. I know what i do and i know about what i write ...but it sounds like you don't know about this specific problem... So your advice here is frustrating for us. If you want to help us he...

I.e. chasing rabbits. With the new tool ideas we've suggested, once we've set the points/line on the horizon, this should then be set in stone, no matter what manipulations you try after, it shouldn't be possible to change it unless you first disabled the true horizon tool. But perhaps it should wor...

It's stepped from the detection... I've found the verticals tool does pretty much nothing to get rid of the steps Putting control points in the area of the horizon, and deleting foreground ones never seems to change it either... Manually putting points down on a horizon is such an easy thing, so the...

To move the case forward I have a suggestion to Kolor for the new "horisontal horizon"-tool :) It is easy to get a pano at RMS 2.0 with a nice horizon. The problem is to get it horisontal, and the "vertical line"-tool makes steps and is to no use in theese cases. A solution is: start with the RMS 2...

This stepped horizon problem has been a pita for me dozens of times, and it really needs a tool created to fix it. I've posted a thread in the feature request forum ages ago. .. On my phone so can't find the link. The 'washing line' approach seems to be a descent method. The sea/flat terain should ...

A little trick: keep the shutter button half pressed between shots, this should lock all the exposure/wb/etc for all the shots until you've finished. :-)
Try it.

Just thought... Seti is a volunteernetwork for good cause. Don't think people will want to do this kind of work with there private machine. Also most pc's will not be strong enough to run the pano's we might want to have them render. I was joking ;) And thinking of all the PCs on a private office network, rather t...

it should be easy to call it through the rendering to convert quickly to a panorama to flash. I'll put this idea in the pipe. Hi Alex! Good idea - but in the end still PTP or KRPano do the Flash-thing and not APG, don´t they . . . :D:cool: So where´s the problem to start PTP if one wants to make ...

To CheeseAndJamSandwich : it seems that we did that or were about to do it. In GPU pano move mode, use "shift key" to lock one direction. It works on panorama and pictures. :) Yep, that works great! But it seems like 'hidden functionality' at the moment... And, for me at least, it seems like one of...

Please be aware that we are talking about creating a simple flash file. How do you use that simple Flash file? If you use it just to check your stitching in a spherical 'projection' locally then you could instead view the equirectangular image using the freeware DevalVR Player if running on Windows...

Klaus, Please be aware that we are talking about creating a simple flash file. Hi! I´m fully aware of that. And i understood what you said from the beginning. Fact is: it´s not the purpose of a stitcher to make a Flash-file - it would only be possible in a very basic way and that does no help. Th...

Settings for 'Quick Export's filename...

Is there, or can there be a way of changing the file name structure of the Quick Export? At the moment, it prefixes the file name with "tour_" This means the tour doesn't sit next to the pano image if other files are in the directory, when sorting by name. It would be better to at least have it suff...
