I can see 13 and 20 on the left side, so on the right side they must be on the non displayed part.

Re: Which iMac?

Boy, I have this weird feeling that since you guys where bought by GoPro, beside 360 videos, nothing is happening with APG or PTP. eric Same feeling .......! Everything is so slow now conc. APG. My personal anwser to your question : 1) 8 GB is too small , go for 16 GB at least 2) i7 if you still ha...

Re: Best method for stitching aerial mapping images? [SOLVED]

Did you try to force a very long focal length, 1000 mm or more ?

Re: Scanner lens focal length

You should specify a very high focal length (1000 or 2000 mm) and/or activate the 'multiple view' option if you have autopano giga.
The scanner model or focal length don't matter.

Re: How to edit a prestitched image?

Peter987 wrote:Is it possible with Autopano Giga to simply open an already stitched equirectangular image, in order to correct the horizontals en verticals, and save it again?
Any suggestion how to do it?

Why not trying Lightroom ? (or photoshop)

Re: Can Autopano work for this?

[quote="jimbee"] Obviously I'm not the first to inquire about a way to accomplish this kind of stitch which causes me to wonder why the developers of Autopano don't incorporate such a feature into their application? Given there's some work-arounds that can help I wouldn't think it would be...

Re: DNG, colorspaces and optical corrections

Olivier, You mean, if you have several images with Adobe RGB color space in input, the output panorama will be (implicitely) in sRGB ? So Autopano is converting color values from Adobe RGB to sRGB ? Please confirm, because I think Kolor always said Autopano was not doing any color space convertion ?...

Re: Edit Lightroom photos in Autopano.

I thought 'additional external editor' in Lightroom was for one photo at a time, so I learned something. If 23 is the limit, you should use the the lightroom export to Autopano plug in. However, I don't now if it is available for Autopano Giga only, or for Autopano pro as well. I use Autopano Giga a...

Re: raw import/ bridge plugin

Don't know Bridge.
Plug in is probably a handy way to go directly from Bridge to APG.
Within APG, raws are developed by DCRAW, you have no control and the quality is basic.
If you want control over the development and the best quality, you have to use a dedicated software.

Re: raw import/ bridge plugin

Not sure what you mean by 'raw settings', but settings from Nikon NEF (raw) are proprietary informations and can only be interpreted by Nikon software. White balance is maybe the exception to the rule, for Nikon raws. I use Lightroom, and it does not 'import' the raw settings from Nikon. Most probab...

Re: Super resolution with autopano?

Surely it's the case that interpolation does indeed invent new information when increasing the pixel dimensions of an image; the extra pixels are invented by the software. Start with a 12 Mpix image, by interpolation produce a 48 Mpix file, print it 3 meters long, what kind of quality do you get ??...

Interpolation produces extra, 'artificial', pixels, but does not produce new information in the mathematical sense.

Re: Super resolution with autopano?

I think one should distinguish two aspects : The mathematical one : information cannot be 'invented', so by interpolation you can double the number of pixels but the amount of information, ie the number of original pixels does not change. Same by stacking N identical images, you cannot produce new i...

Re: Vertical panorama

Thanks Klaus, I will rebuild my pano following your advices.

My question (to Kolor) is still valid: why do I get different results ? As a 90 degrees rotation is non destructive, I assume the results should be identical. Is there in APG something assuming the pano is horizontal ?

Vertical panorama

I have 3 photos in landscape orientation for a vertical panorama. If I stitch directly (with default parameters) I get something which is not very good, with spherical projection as default. Now if I rotate each photo in portrait orientation in an editor and stitch with default parameters, I get a c...

Re: Color profile

Are your images raw,jpg or tiff ? Have they been processed before stitching by another software ? Knowing nothing about your workflow, I would say that if your AdobeRGB color profile is *embedded* into your pictures, it will be carried over by APP/APG and your panorama will be in that profile. Howev...
