I've launched b1 under WINE and it's a not a workable path this time (it's almost usable with 2.0.9)... mark me down as also eagerly awaiting this Linux build!

So... how's Photokina going and when is it over? :P

[APG Li32bit 2.0.9] Preserve timestamps in Extended Save As 'copy'...

Hi there, quick feature request (seems like an oversight)...

It would be great is Extended Save As could preserve the image file timestamps (modification) when making the copies.

Thanks!

Autosave and also some (configurable) saved file history I'd guess too. (gigapano.pano, gigapano.pano.0 ... akin to unix log files)

The preview will be fun to play with - I have a few problematic panos I _really_ would like the assistance of manual cp-placement for!

Thanks for the update Alex and for the ray of sunshine in the UK's otherwise patchy summer weather!

Very nice classic view - there seems to be a slight darkening over the first 1/3rd of the photo - perhaps a mismatched colour anchor?

I know exactly what you mean - these multiple exposures are good fun :-) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2475/3629028338_9d1ac31463.jpg (flickr link http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephmw/3629028338/ ) Doing them at high resolutions can be pretty time consuming though... are there any workflow speedups...

Ah, sorry guys, I only put up a single stack (I have just over 300 photos for the whole pano, all bracketted) as what I was expecting was the image group on the left (before detection) to show [BKT] to indicate APG had correctly identified the stack as a group of images. I'll upload 3 groups of 3 im...

[APG 2.0.3] AEB shots not recognised in Canon 5D raw files

Hi Everyone, I recently took a large pano with a borrowed Canon 5D, I used the RAW format as well as AEB to bracket at -2,0,+2 but it doesn't look like APG (or APP) recognise the shots as being bracketed. I think it's because the bracket info isn't where it's expected to be... http://stephmw.org/exa...

krpano.license

Any ideas what the best way is of making my unlimited krpano.license file available to the krpano.swf without giving it away to the whole world? I had a quick look at the documentation but didn't see anything directly addressing this.

Thanks!

I think this (alas german-only) page explains one reason for only zooming on-demand: memory consumption

http://krpano.com/docu/multires/

Zoomify works the same way, and it's something I personally don't mind too much

I have another question about legal aspects too - some photos I've taken are of public parks or squares... it's become clear that some of these (Trafalgar Square for instance) actually have by-laws covering commercial photography of these. Typically these do not allow commercial exploitation of the ...

I have re-rendered using the original photos, forcing the zenith photo in place and letting APP deal with blending it in. Forcing the zenith has corrected the fi...

Thanks Andrew, I shot this using a Canon 17-85mm at 17mm on a Canon 350D. The lens is in a dire need of a service though, lots of dust behind the front element makes it flare oddly ;-)

Ok - I get only 40% usage under Linux, I'll see about changing some of the parameters to make it consume less cpu ;)

My main reason for choosing this viewer, incidentally, is its flexibility - not having a WinXP machine to run most of the others makes it rather painstaking to test anything.

That's really odd - I've had people with your Flash and Java configuration try it (IE7, FF on Vista and WinXP) and they're not reporting any errors :-(

I'm not sure what else to suggest really, anyone else have any ideas?

Ok, fixed the problem - there's some strange caching issues with the flash player, the javascript loader, etc, etc... the large version should definitely look less blurred than the small version :-D
