As not two applications I use are scrolling and zooming in the same way, my answer would be:
scroll = one finger :)
zoom = two fingers :) :)

I used always 200 CPs for the detection. Is there a general advice possible, what is a good combination of number of CPs and detection quality? Unless you have some reason to try something different stick with the install defaults. http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRt-08_gqgD4gJWtgyyWYb2D0-H...

The History tool is to be used when you want to cancel what you just did. It works for any action and is especially useful when using the CP editor.

If I remember well, it will remove in a single step all the manual control points you added.

Here is an exemple where the same issues are are visible both in v2.5.2 Multiband and v2.5.2 Linear blenders. This suggest that the problems could not depend on the used blender.

I´d spontaneously say: the alignment of camera/lens and NPP isn´t absolutely correct. I realized that even 2 mm incorrectness produces errors. This is not well known but the proof is easy: if the NPP moves by 2mm between two adjacent shoots and the most distant parts of the subject (where 2 mm co...

Is it possible to turn off scaling ? Yes, but only when the Lens distortion correction option is deselected before detection (before the first optimization, that is.) As a result you must not use the current project but start a new project. Why does APG scale the pictures ? They are shot at 140.0mm...

Annoying behavior certainly, but I don't see this as a strange behavior. If using PTgui as your standard stitcher you would certainly find that some 360 x 180 panos are suffering from minor stitching errors that Autopano is able to avoid. That a row at 0 deg. is easiest to stitch than a row at -10 d...
