Flat stitching

I would find autopano more flexible if it the capabilities to stitch flat scans for reproducing large paintings and printed photos. Stitching without distortions for flat scans would be very useful for doing other things besides panos.

SL10.6.1 32-bit Kernel, APP in 64-bit, Same in GPU and non-GPU mode on a MBP unibody late 2008

No scrollbars, navigating almost impossible... on the positive there is much improved GPU handling.

Apparently, the full compatibility with Snow Leopard is not far because, it seems that many part works except smartblend. Am I right ? So this seems not to be a big issue to solve here if the cause is not QT. Does anyone using Autopano have other issues with Snow Leopard beside the smartblend ? I'm...

I don't think this is the software. Did you do a user install of some RAM?

I've noticed that when I select to use GPU to render images in Autopano preferences it does funny things even though it tests OK to use. I was just wondering if you had selected to use GPU.

A non priority wish

I would like Autopano 2 not to strip the color profile from my files, this was a problem in version 1. I have to reassign the original color profile in Photoshop.

No big deal and a very low priority fix.

Regards,
Larry

Autopano Pro 2.0.1 Mac 64bits fixed!

I thought this might be helpful for the Macbook Pro users with unibody (late 2008) My macbook was purchased during the Christmas New Year holidays and received it in mid January after an exchange to the MBP. Well, a month later Apple released a special update trying to fix an issue with the two vide...

No it doesn't work better on 10.5.7, the problems are in Qt and so the OS really won't change much. Hardware configuration has much more to do with product stability than people think. Since I switched from my MacPro 1st gen to the current Nehalem generation, apps that used to work just fine are no...

Good answer phototrek. The main advantage of the 64bits version is to be able to make really bigger panorama ! Now, it's not that stable as the 32 bits version based on carbon yet. What was the point of releasing the mac 64 bit version of APP? it crashes just doing nothing but being opened on the d...

I cannot open PSD files from Photoshop but I can save from Autopano PSD. Tif files are ok but I would rather work with PSD. I hope this is just a bug in RC1.

Even with this problem I must say this is the best stitching program I've used.
