The Problem is APT does not store Hotspot data in the XML file, they must be in the swf file and I have no clue how to access it.

_blank tag in URL link is annoying

Hi I am trying to make a big tour with APT, and want to link the panoramas with URL on the hotspots. But when I use a URL the link get the _blank target and it opens in a new window, so when I jump through thew panos everytime a new window is opening, that is pretty annoying. Is there anyway to ad a...

Or stuff like build in Wordpress templates etc. A...

Rendering with Smartblend as it is now is mainly influenced by the speed of the Harddrive. Always choose a HDD for the tempfiles which is fast and where not the panorama pictures are stored. More speed you gain by using RAID 0 or Raid 5 setups which can be speed up by using SAS Drives or Velocirapto...

Yeah Papywizard is really super easy, just tried it.
Do you know if there are ready Bluettooth devices to buy without soldering?
And when I understand everything right I need the Merlin/Orion, a Nokia N770, 800 810, some Bluetoothconectivity and a connection to the camera?
Right?
Thanks

Shot with Canon 5DMKII, EF 200mm Manfrotto 303SPH. Shooting time was 19 minutes. How many images did you shoot for this pano? 462 images shot in 19 minutes? That's about 24 separate shots per minute - less than 3 seconds per shot/shooting position - is that correct? Or did you use AEB to create a s...

So impressive. Did you use a motorised pano head? What output file type did you use? And, last one, did you post process, and, if so, using what software? OK, that was really two! Sorry about all the questions... Mike. Hi, I used a normal Manfortto 303SPH panohead. I prefer shooting non motorised b...

360° cylindrical 5.5 Gigapixel, Karlsruhe Germany

Now that I own a Canon 5D MKII it is easy as a cake to make Gigapixel Panoramas. Not such a fight as with my Sigmas :D So just a try out before I will make some big Gigapixels this summer. The scene is a bit boring as it just shows the palace in Karlsruhe and the surrounding place. On the left side ...

I tried stitching a set of 24 (8x3 HDR) 16 bit Tiff from a Canon 5DMKII with Sigma 15mm lens. I have chosen Fishey optimization. First of all the founded focal lenght in the edit window is 25.41mm, very strange. The edit window is destroying the pano when using the center function. The picture beco...

Sigma/Foveon RAW suport?

Would this be possible?
Can send you files from SD9/SD10/sd14 and soon DP1
I know it is totally different than bayer sensors so just a question.
Thanks

Smartblend is anyway bugged and do not use any sratch disks on MacOSX
It always uses the system disk for temp files.
So as long that is not repaired any sratch disks are sensless when using smartblend.

Last Sunday I made a short stopp at Stein am Rhein when heading back from the alps.
Made this view of the promenade from the other Rhine side.

For me it is fun to explore the limitations of panography. Some years ago I shot a QTVR in a Volvic Bottle with a DSLR. In a dishwasher and I made some Gigapixels to explore the other direction. Also when shooting large sized panoramas you can see so many deatila which you are even not aware with yo...

Hard linking will help nothing as it will not remove the bad CP. Problem is that I am working on a 1220 picture panorama and APP is not optimizing all pictures in big panoramas (at least it seems so) There are around 40 bad linked picture pairs which sometimes causing a gap in the panorama, so I mus...

Pasting CP

Hi just got a somewhat crazy idea A weakness of APP is in real big panoramas, that by some unknown reasons picturepairs get detected real worse. When isolating that pair and stitching them one gets fantastic RMS So it just comes to my mind that it would be cool to have a fuunction of importing CP fr...

For exact that Klaus I ask for an extra window with big pictures like the CP Editor. Than one can move pictures very exactly. The only programm I know which is great for manual placing is Realviz Stitcher, but I do not use it anymore since more than a year. But that one is so slow and not really goo...

Klaus, so it works: When a pano is detected you open the Editor window and notice this: http://www.panodrom.com/files/manual/1.jpg To place those sky pics go to th topbar and choose the red circled sign http://www.panodrom.com/files/manual/2.jpg You get somewhere in the Editor window a new toolbar a...

Extra Window for manual placement

Hi, the manual placement function can be pretty annoying. Because the whole pano gets greyed out when moving the picture for placement and the whole pictures are to tiny so it is sometimes a pain to set something properly. Also sometimes you must do it in 2 steps when the pano is real long and all t...

Klaus, First there is the detection process. Which can go a very long time for big panos. Than on the right side of the Program the preview gets rendered. I just asked that than simultaenously the Editor window opens as it is the same process (By option). When I open it later it takes again the same...
