Re: Offset option for Submenu in Panorama Menu

Here's a sample:

http://www.marcolanciani.com/test/

Here I applied 10 pixels to the button spacer and 10 pixels to the border. As a result the Submenu is offset by 20 pixels...
with an "offset" option for the Submenu would be possible to align the submenu to the main menu.

Re: Replacing a Canvas

Dragging elements would be great but I was thinking to click a button near a picture, or in a preset position in the wall, opening a gallery or even the Finder, choose a new picture and replace/put it in that same position...

Re: Kolor Folder

You can delete it, but it'll be created again eeevery time you launch Panotour Pro. I guessed it. Thank you, Cliquetsy. The folder is there for you to place custom content of your own, which will be accessible from PTP, like extra plugins, html templates, hotspots, etc... This is ok for me. It is j...

Kolor Folder User Directory

In Finder, in Documents, I've found this Folder.
All its subfolders are empty... 0 KB data is inside the Kolor Folder.

Can I safely delete it?

Replacing a Canvas

My need is to let the user replace and possibly move ‘flat elements’ like a canvas with a mouse touch.

My client want a virtual tour that allows it to move and replace canvases on the wall to see the effect, before to actually hang them.
Any Idea?

Re: Day/Night is not enough!

At present the Gui in PTP allows only to reach the second level... and I'd need to reach the fourth level. I don´t understand - what do you mean saying "level"?? You can go anywhere from any hotspot . . . Let's say that every time you hover over the "Panorama Menu" and a Submenu...

Re: Day/Night is not enough!

Actually this was not intended as a scheme. This is exactly how I want the "Panorama Menu" to look like. At present the Gui in PTP allows only to reach the second level... and I'd need to reach the fourth level. You also ask for the behaviour. It is the same as the current "Panorama M...

Re: Day/Night is not enough!

Thank you Destiny. Yes I already tried and it works. KRPano code is not a problem at this level. Please don't take this as an offence but I think you missed my point, which is having panos organised in groups and subgroups. This is just a need for visual order when navigating the Tour. Having a colu...

Day/Night is not enough!

Why not Autumn/Winter/Spring/Summer and for each of them dawn/morning/noon/afternoon/evening/dusk/night? And yet for each 'dawn' there might still be three versions… Any Idea at present? BTW, for the future I’m thinking about: Groups Subgroups Subsubgroups Subsubsubgroups … and Panorama Menu Submenu...

Offset option for Submenu in Panorama Menu

I’m using the last stable version of PTP. I’ve noticed that adding a Button Spacer or a Border Width value to the Panorama Menu cause an offset of the same value in the submenu. I’m missing an ‘Offset Option’ in the ‘Submenu Options Pane’. Manual coding can still be done for small projects but… Is t...

Hi Marco! 1) select a set of brackets from your image-folder. Preferably select one which represents the others as far as possible. 2) choose your settings carefully and without doing too much . . ;) 3) once yiu found the optimal settings: save them as preset into your image-folder. 4) open the bat...

I definitely suggest to HDR and tonemap the bracketed sets in Photomatix first by selecting more than one set and save the presets for running all sets as batch. best, Klaus Hi Klaus, you always says you do tonemapping first in Photomatix, export as TIFF or JPEG as needed, and import those tonemapp...

I switched from 3.0.0RC1 to 3.0.2.

Exactly same problem!
From 3.0.2 APG is not working anymore for me with HDR panos, either spherical or partial (single row) panos!

The editor shows a wrong stitch: this never happened before!

Hi Renan, thanks for your explanation. It helps, by the way... Basically, you're asking a (min-cut/max-flow) algorithm to guess the selection by guessing the relevant pixels! Looks like shooting at flies with cannons! Maybe it’s not a case if your red/green marks looks like a target. A double gues...

Hans, you're just confirming my findings. Most of the features in APG are all about TRIALS AND ERRORS! No logic, no method. At all. Trials And Errors is only a (method) way to waist time. :) Regards, Marco (Please, how can I make use of the "strikethrough" character in this Forum? The Button for the...

I find no method on using APG yet!

The documentation provided with APG, both written and video tutorials, looks like of very little help in some cases! For example: let's speak about the Mask Tool. It doesn't tell actually "HOW" the mask tool works... it just tells the effect, or, if you prefer, the corresponding feature, that is, wh...

Hans, I was asking, actually, just how the mask tool in APG works... and how the ghosting removal works... in case of HDR panos with large sets of bracketed images.
I wasn't asking features for APG, was I? :)

Regards,
Marco

A word to V3.0 and masking ghosts: I like the masking in APG much better than the one in PTGui. Masking in PTGui is very precise - but creates hard cuts. Masking ghosts in APG seems not only more comfortable but also the results are smoother because APG blends the removals much finer. Once getting ...

Stitching errors in APG are mainly due to, at least, two issues: 1. CPs, using fisheye lenses, are still not enough spread, both ways, (a) eachother and (b) along the full length of the overlapping areas of adjacent images! (or put it another way: CPs are way too much clustered and center-positioned...
