Hello Guys.

it's a Casino and Hotel in Rosario Argentina.

We designed and programmed the interface for this virtual tour.
Also, checkout the tour unique url for each pano smile

I hope you like it!

Well done, great job..!!!. Love your interactive features too... These really need to be part of ptp... The drop-down thumbs are great... Yes, I noticed you put each pano in its own html file.. Why did you do this..

I have been trying to do a casino for a while now.. I am booked into do the local RSL, they have machines but it not a casino.... I have to wait for them to have a wedding to showcase the tables setup...

How did you code up your drop-down thumbs... Really nice.. What jpg level did you set your tours to.... ?? If it was 12, 10 would make it run smoother and you will not not notice any difference in quality... It was just a bit jiggly...

I have also checked out you unique interactive features on your web site.. SOOOO COOOL.. I have been playing with my own interactive content for ages but my coding knowledge is limited. It looks like you have mastered it.. Well done... I now know who to ask for special interactive features... wink

I might email you later with some very exciting ideas I have... smile

Destiny.

Hi Georg and Destiny, thank you for your comments! I'm glad you like what I did here.

actually it's not one html per pano... it's one html for all the tour but when you change the variable of the url, the pano that loads is different.
try changing #/fachada for #/lobby and hit enter in the url bar.
The reason is to have the same tour but starting with a different panorama. My client will link this tour from different parts of their website. For example: the Casino page will link to the tour with the #/casino-maquinas pano. And the hotel page will link to the tour with the #/lobby pano.
Also it's good for the users so they can share a link to a pano.

Well... there's a mask that limits the area where the panel can be seen, and Each thumb is a parent of the panel. it's quite complex actually to describe here in a few lines.

They'r just normal cube faces.

Thanks man!
I'll post some other works that I don't have published in my website.
And yes... I've been so much into the krpano codes that right now I can't work in other way than hand coding. I try to keep the code as tidy as posible and use the less amount of plugins, graphics and codes for each feature.

Just let me know when you need something. I'll be happy to help you.

Re: Awesome Casino and Hotel in Argentina - Custom interface virtual tour

Hi.. Yes, I checked out the tour on my iPod.. works fine.... wink

What I meant about the jpg quality, you can set that in ptp, but it seems you are using krpano for creating your tours, so this level of optimising is missed out. Therefore, no optimising has been done.. What I suggest you do is run the cube faces through Photoshop etc to optimise the cube faces to 10. If you do not have Photoshop, send me the cube faces of just one pano via web transfer and i will do it for you to show you the difference..  am sure the pano's will run smoother...

emm... I really need to get into all the good stuff with krpano.. I can put youtube streaming video, slideshows and a few other interactive graphic features into a pano using javascript which also work on an iPad etc. I am working on xml coded navigation but never enough time.... If flash could work on an iPad then I could create heaps of cool stuff using AS3. But at the moment I am too busy playing with my new D800 camera.. wink

I will send you a link to a very nice navigation feature which I am trying to recreated..

What I would like to see with ptp, are multi layer levels. Where interactive elements can ben called on and can be placed over the pano, then linked to features of the pano. Each layer level can be uniquely edited and saved as and stored in a library. I have a feeling that the next generation of ptp will be filled with interactive goodies, whether it has useful interactive features remains to be seen..

Some really unique software like Shake, Poser, Cult 3d and also ptp, work by placing the node graphic on the stage and linking it.. This to me is a great feature. A multi level interactive graphic feature could be done this way. It allows layers to be connected and seen very easy. For example, you can place a skin on the stage and give it a hierarchy layer value. then a thumb navigation skin can be placed over this and also a button navigation set. All totally editable and storable in the asset library to be call on when needed.
