Hi,
i have buy the Girocam and now i dont use anymore the Motorized head.
I tested it only once.
So is really new.
Im are in switzerland you can tell mi your price.

nachdem ich die Girocam gekauft habe. kann ich den Motorisierter Kopf nich mehr brauchen.
Ich habe Ihn nur einmal getestet und ist also ausgepackt aber noch neu.
Würde mich um ein angebot freuen.

Jes i know this the girocam is mutch simpler for take a foto in only 1 shot.
for my business i need this.
the motorized head is a to complexy for me to make fast a foto.
and now i dont need anymore because in buy the girocam.

Hi Posto!
If you want to shoot rectangular hires photo or interactive spherical panoramas: keep the Panogear. It produces very fine panoramas and you can make very hi-res photography with it.
The Girocam is s nice idea - but you definitely can´t compare it to a motorized head.
But all depends on what you intend to do!
btw.: especially for indoors the Girocam isn´t useful because of it´s inability to produce a small Nadir-hole and near-by furniture or carpets and so on. The resolution is very limited - that kind of quality is out of date
among panorama-photography these days.
If your clients expect an up-to-date quality: Girocam can´t provide that. Merlin can very well do that.
The question is: can you afford to provide mediocre quality to your clients? I guess nobody can afford that who wants to survive in the business longer than some months. Clients usually aren´t blind . .

Hallo Klaus,
Natürlich hast du vollkommen recht.
Den Nadirpunkt kann mit Photoshop und 2 Girocam fotos auf ein minimum gehalten werden. und wenn ein Kunde das wünscht mache ich noch mit meinem Fisheye ein Foto nach unten.
Es muss mich alzu professionell sein, da die qualität für das Web sowieso runtergeschraubt werden muss.
Girocam reicht mir föllig aus und mit diesem gerät kann ich auch mal jemand unerfahrenes kurz zum kunden vorbeischicken und er ich habe schnell mein ergebniss.
Jetzt steht der Motorisierte Kopf nur rum und wenn ihn jemand gebrauchen möchte bitte, gerne
