Hi!
When i do a pano with 85mm it´s 200pics. The equirectangular image has 84000px and is a .psb file of about 11GB.
Making it interactive with PTP i usually get an over-all size of around 700MB on the server when i use jpg-setting in PTP to 8.
Actually i´m getting a PTP folder of 2,17GB instead of around 700MB as usual.
Does somebody have an idea?

PSB is uncompressed. Jpeg is a compressed a lot.

I know that very well of course . . . 
But that doesn´t explain why it´s 2,17GB and others - of the same .psb-size - have 700MB as PTP!

Difference between that could be explained by jpeg compression. You have to review what takes size on this generated hierarchy.
I useally use a nice tool on windows called treesize. On mac, it's direct.

I´m actually checking Photoshop. Might be it´s because ii used the CS6 Trial. It fully works till the summer - but what a trial does in the background sometimes isn´t really verifyable . . 
As i wrote: i usually have about 8-10GB equis. Depending of the jpg-compression i choose in PTP - usually 7 or 8 - the resulting pano-folder which i load up is around 500-700MB.
Never it was larger. Now it´s 2,71GB which PTP gives me - though i chose a jpg-compression of 7 in PTP.
That´s a bit big difference.

Ok - i used Photoshop CS5 now. Opened the .psb and saved it again using a different name. It´s now 6,5GB.
Let´s see what PTP makes from it . .
