Hi
when I drag'n'drop images / folders to Autopano 2.6.1 group view, new Lens distortion settings are not applied to group. If I create manually a group, those settings are applied.
So obviously this is a bug, as all other settings are applied, when folders are dragged to group view?
Please correct it, as folder drag'n'drop is very handy, now I need to apply manually necessary settings to each group or import each folder to readymade group = much more work.

Hi Markku,
The default setting works this way :
- In main window, edit menu, settings => In this part, you change the default value of any setting in a panorama ( from number of cp to final file format ).
- As a default value, it will be used only for any new group not already opened group : these groups already have a copy of the default settings that could already have been changed.
So when the drag'n'drop happens, either it creates a new group and in this case, it should have the new settings, or it happens to add image to existing group and the settings won't be affected.

Stop teling this AlexandreJ, i have the same problem on 2.6.1 and now 2.6.2 is not fixed
I use global setting optimization "correct npp"
and i can save and exit program... then manually create new group or groups... and group settings "optimization - correct npp" is DISABLED but in global is enabled... it should be enabled in groups i think or i dont understand where is the diffrence between group settings and global settings?

Issue 1228 opened
Offline
Hi Pavka. I did try to reproduce this issue and it does work as designed. Perhaps, I didn't explained well enough how it was designed.
---
In the main windows, edit, settings entry, you change globals settings which will be used for any new group. If you enabled there "correct npp" ( multiple viewpoint ), it won't affect any opened group or panorama. It just says that for any new group or panorama, this new value should be used.
When a group is created, you have access to the same settings but locally on the group itself ( 1st icon in group header ). The settings can be edited locally ( meaning for this group only ) there. If you change anything, it will only affect this group only.
I did the following test that you can also do :
- general settings, enable "multiple viewpoint"
- create a new group using the new group icon. Go to the local settings, see it the flag is enabled, it is.
- general settings, disable "multiple viewpoint"
- create a new group, and see it's local settings, flag, disabled. BTW : creating a group through this icon or through drag'n'drop of some files outside any group has the same effect of creating a group. Be aware, that if you drag'n'drop images to an already created group won't change the settings of this group as it already exists.
I didn't found any way to break our designed settings management, so it doesn't look like a bug for me.
