This is the second render i have completed with APG 2.6.2 since the update. The first one did not have this problem. In the about box it still has my email address as the registrant.

hmm - myterious.
did you provided mix the autopano versions?
or did you mix the license keys panotour key->autopano etc.?
in about the email is shown you wrote... when restarting autopano, does it show the register window? I think not...
mabe uninstall the autopano - and after reboot of PC reinstall it again and reenter the license key listed in your kolor user account.

HI,
No I just instaleld the update for 2.6.2 from the website and it did not ask for my key, but my email address is still in the about box. I only have (and only use) APG. I do however also have 2.5 still installed. Could that be the cause? I will try to uninstall 2.6.2 again and reinstall. i will report back. Thanks.

HI I reinstalled but have not rendered anything yet. Is there a way to trach the preferences and re-input my license key? It still shows my email address in the about box as the registrant. Also, to uninstall, I merely trashed the appliaction. I dont know what other files if any needed to be trashed. Can you advise?

On windows, the settings are stored in the registry : HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Kolor/Autopano Giga 2.6
Delete this entry ( the full folder ) and you'll get a clean install.

Well, i deleted the user/library/application support/kolor/AutopanoGiga26 folder, then reinstalled and it did not ask me for a key and my email is still in the registered about box. Can you please advise? thank you.

Fiest, close the software, be sure it's closed and not anymore in the activity monitor.
Then go to the folder : users/ yourname /library/preferences/
In this folder, erase any files starting with : com.kolor.Autopano* : in these files, settings are stored.
Then launch again the software : it should be unregistered : register again and everything should be fine.

I have done exactly as you said. I have deleted everything with no activity in the activity monitor, re-installed, re-entered the license key and still I am unable to save a project. There is something strange. help, s.v.p.

Did the registration worked ? No error message at this stage ?
BTW : one common mistake is to register Autopano Giga with an Autopano Pro key or reserve. It doesn't work.
You can guess what software you have with the start of the key : KAPP -> autopano pro, KAPG -> Autopano Giga

I am installing APG (with the blue logo mark).
I have used an advanced search to find everything with “kolor” and everything with “Autopano” in the name and deleted everything. I restarted and then I installed:
AutopanoGiga_Mac_Leopard_262_2012-03-20
my license key starts KAPG4. registration succeeded.
And STILL I am not able to save a project after import. Perhaps this is a bad license key?
CAN YOU PLEASE ASSIST ME?

You started off complaining that rendered panos showed a watermark, now you seem to have a different complaint - that you are 'not able to save a project after import' - what do you mean by that exactly?

they are the same complaint. When you have a trial version you get a watermark and you cannot save a project. same problem different symptoms. I have tried all the steps, it shows my email address as registration, yet it still BEHAVES as if it were a trial version.

I would suggest to let kolor team investigate your mac using remote tools like teamviewer software.

starting the software gives you a window with an ID and an password.
if the remote does the same and you give the other person your ID than the remote poerson can log to your teamviewer session (after entering the password you gave them)
The remote person can than work on your computer as working in front of your monitor, you can see what the remote person is doing on your Computer.
the teamviewer is available also for mac computer since some weeks.
dont know if on mac such other tools are available. Its easy to handle. in fact both parties are connecting to teamviewer-server, so both clients are doing outbound-connections to teamviewer-server, so in consequence firewalls can be crossed without adopting or loosing the restrictions/rules.
Its a onetime connection - so save for you - even if you give ID and password to Kolor Team - after closing connection the password is changed and no further connections are possible from remote (unless you do not give the new password...)
Dont know if Kolor did this kind of support in past...
