Re: Little planet?

Thank you:)

What I would like to know is if Autopano giga has the same option like
the PtGui - Little planet with one click out of the 360 panorama.

Anybody?

PanoTour Pro provides the option for little planet introduction.

Re: Little planet?

To answer your question, PTP can only create a little planet introduction as part of the tours SWF.  If you with to create a static JPG little planet then this cannot be done in PTP and I refer you back to my post on the 2012-03-20 15:07:10 as this shows you how to create a JPG little planet

Re: Little planet?

I'd love to see this capability included in AutoPano Giga. Yes - I know Photoshop can generate these, but there's no flexibility - so you only get one option. The best tool I've found so far (for tinkering with options and generating different views) is PhotoBrush http://www.mediachance.com/pbrush/ but it could be a lot easier to use.

Adding polar/stereographic projection to APG would be awesome.

FYI - if you're just looking for a quick view to see if a polar projection would be good for an equi image - grab the desktop DevalVR player from here.  You can even do screen-captures of the outputs - but the transform takes a few short-cuts (for speed), so the image will be a little 'blocky' - but you should be able to tell if it is worth going to the extent of loading a full tool.
