Shoot two versions of the pano: one at daylight and one at night. Use the image (world) as a hotspot to link to the one or the other.

best, Klaus

P.S.: or did i misunderstand something?

What-do-you-mean-exactly: "that flash effect"?? cool

Which hotspot do you mean? The earth-ball? Yesterday you said "logo".

Do you mean: a) the jumping earth-ball or b) the logo "info3D" which fades a bit?

best, Klaus

Hi!

Ok - thanks! There are tons of Flash-events downloadable out on the web.  Guess you must use Google.
Look for "Flash-templates" or "Flash-actions" and so on. You also should look in the krpano-forum (they have an english site too)

Re: day night effect

Hi limpbizkit

This MIGHT be possible I am sure but you will need to play about with the xlm main code, but for this one you will need to posses good skills in xml.. What suggest you do is, create your moon sun graphic as a 24 bit png.. If you do as search on the internet for moon and sun images, you will see heaps of them which you could edit as your own thing..

This is the tricky bit.. add two pano one with night and the other daytime in ptp and then add a thumb nav and put it at the top..

In your main xml, you will need to set the Strap and the Thumb Scroll and the Slide to 0 alpha.. This will mean they will be invisible. What you need to do now is replace the thumb of both pano's with the moon and sun graphic.. What you should see are two moon and sun graphics. I did this ok..

Now this is where the real skills come in.. You need to duplicate all of the xml code and rename all main files, if you don't you will have conflict..

Now you need to put the x location of your moon/sun to the same location on both sets of code, so they are basically on top of each other..

Now, you need to find the path where the thumb nave auto opens and closes and change those to true and false accordingly. That will take a bit of working out..

What should happen is the Moon and Sun will go up but the opposite code will come down. I say code since its not the graphic you are interested in.. Its the change in code.. Normally when you click on a thumb, THAT pano will open.. But above I said to swop them around,.. ie.. moonsun1.xml with become moonsun0.xml .. So when you are in the day time, the night pano will open..

I am not sure if any of this will work but its worth a try.. You could use Flash but that will open up all kinds of issues. This way I am suggesting will allow you to view it in an iDevice too..

I had a play with it, I had the two moon sun graphics and found that its possible but I just don't have time to play with it too much.. I managed to go from day to night back night to day but then it locked.. It would not not back to night... not sure why.. Its should have worked..

It looks to me as if they did use the Thumb nave for this in the way it works.. Its makes sense to use it.. This is why I tried creating it this way..

Hope all this helps.. and good luck..

Destiny....

Re: day night effect

Here's the XML - perhaps you can figure out how the effect was achieved:

http://www.info3d.ro/panorame/brasov/co … i/tour.xml

This tour uses Scenes. Tours created by PTP do not.

Re: day night effect

eemm.. I checked that xml code out, and broke it down.. Half of it is about the Scenes, the pano images, and the other half is associated with the cursor.. There doesn't seem to be anything relating to the actual interactive moon/sun... and they way they are used to navigate.. Not helpful that its not ptp xml...

I guess easy to do using swf but i think xml would be the better option.... Not sure if its worth putting in effort for a limited use code....
