Coud you be a bit more specific? That´s not the usual behaviour of PTP . . . cool

Welcome to the fourm...

Which version of Panotour or Panotour Pro are you using?

How many pano images are there in your tour?

How large of these images and what image file format?

Are they 360x180 pano images or partial panos images?

Re: Damn buggy software craches all the times!!

Hello,

1 - I am sorry to ask Georg question once again, but its answer is important to us.
Which Windows7 do you have ? Is it a 64bits or a 32bits version of Windows 7 ?

2 - Could you also tell me "when PTP crashed" ?
Is it when trying to browse the filesystem to open a panorama, to add a sound, a logo, a nadir patch, etc ??

3 - Could you also tell me if you got the AVAST antivirus ?
If not, could you tell me which antivirus are you using, if you got one ?

4 - Could you also follow the steps described in the following post and send us the dump files
http://www.kolor.com/forum/t14004-autop … p-analysis
This thread is about Autopano but the pricniples are the same for Panotour Pro.

Thanks a lot for your future answers,
They will help us to fix your crashes,
Gérald

Re: Damn buggy software craches all the times!!

We don't have such uncommon behavior in our software, of course ( A lot of people would complains and it just works great ).

64

Yes - when trying to browse  the filesystem to open a panorama, a logo, a nadir patch, "build tour as"  with delete files on the folder option ON... basicaly when comunicating with my hard drive. Its really random, some times it opens the file browser and crach, some times it wont even open, sometimes it opens and loads correctly...

3 - Could you also tell me if you got the AVAST antivirus ?
If not, could you tell me which antivirus are you using, if you got one ?
Yes, and as a matter of fact after a fresh install of KPTP, I can only register/lisence if I turn AVAST off, otherwise it craches EVERY TIME I TRY TO REGISTER/LISENSE.

I will.

AND IM SORRY FOR MY FIRST POST, ITS JUST THAT I BLEW A DEAD LINE WITH A CLIENT BECAUSE OF THE CONSTAT CRASHES....

Did you try to reinstall PTP after erasing ALL it´s preferences?

I´m not familiar with Windows - but even i am able to get APG and PTP running without issues with Win7 on my MacPro.
So there must be something really weird on your system . . .

best, Klaus

Re: Damn buggy software craches all the times!!

Disabling AVAST didn't do anything. Uninstall it.
