Hi there peeps,
Just received my new Panogear. I have managed to create a pano controlling the Panogear with papywizard.
My question is ... If I want to do A HDR pano what part of the setup controls the multiple shutter release for the bracketting?
Do I have to control the pano head separately and then trigger the shutter with a separate remote? Or do I set up the multiple shutter release somehow in Papywizard? I am using a Nikon D700 and I have programmed the multiple exposure brackets into it.

Marianne
Does it require a single shutter release to shoot all the brackets or a separate shutter release for each of the bracketed exposures?

It needs an individual shutter release for each exposure.

I.m working from memory a bit here, because my camera lacks AEB and the precise documentation of the shutter trigger sequence is not currently available online.
But this is what I think you need to do.
Configure the shutter plugin - see screenshot below.
Set the Number of brackets, and set the Time value to be long enough for the longest exposure in the bracket sequence.
Then test and adjust appropriately.
This will create an XML file with a data set for each exposure - so if Number of brackets is set to 3 then there will be 3 sets of data values for each shooting position.

Thanks Andrew. I see where this is now within papywizard.
I will give it a try

nikon and canon have the luck to be supported by promote control device.
see here: http://www.promotesystems.com/ for info and videos.
the promote doies also fluitly can be combined together with the handcontroller from T&C (www.typeandcolour.de) which is also available for panogear package from kolor site...
HDR, focus stacking, HDR focus stacking combined, timelapse, HDR + timelapse combined and mannnnny more features get possible.

Hi Georg.. Are you sure this Promote unit does Focus Stacking.. I have just been reading about it.. I was going to buy software that did but I did not realise that the Promote might do it.. I knew it did Exposure bracketing +/- stacking.. ..? Now I am confused.. I really need to do some Focus Stacking... Now I am confused again...

Focus stacking description & videos (currently still limted to Canon (?):
https://support.promotesystems.com/inde … ticleid=17
and newest beta (it works really smoothly for me...) also can manipulate ISO and aperture control (in oneshot mode)
https://support.promotesystems.com/inde … ditemid=16
and finally source of all new infos:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/promote.control
above features are the new one,
the Exposure bracketing +/- stacking of course is still possible ;-)
and even better you can combine it with your www.typeandcolour.de handcontroller (also available for panogear from kolor)
so your head is driving into correct position and than the promote will do focusstacking HDR bracketing all in one.
so Josefs new Head (which also comes with the handcontroller from Josef - www.typeandcolour.de ...) comes with a new firmware,
this also than will be able to do new things (to my shame I forgot the details...)
Liebe Gruesse,
Georg

oh wow Georg.. I have been searching for which cameras can do Focus Stacking.... Amazing that its not a feature of Nikon.. So very useful for micro photography...
The new Gigtube DSLR Wireless Viewfinder II is about to be released.. I have a pre order in.. Pity it will not do Focus Stacking but its really just a remote with viewer..
You are always a wealth of info Georg... ![]()
