Hello,
We released a fix version of Panotour and Panotour Pro.
The changelogs of this version are at the end of this post.
We included a new feature in this version of Panotour Pro.
You can now build iBooks Author compatible tours with PTP.
iBooks Author is the Apple software used to create iBooks.
iBooks can now contains some dynamic widgets.
If you choose to create an iBooks widget in PTP, you will be able to import this widget in a iBooks Author project, and then publish an iBook containing your virtual tours.
Once uploaded on an iPad, an iBook and the tours it contains can be read without any internet connection.
There is also a major feature for Japanese users, Panotour and Panotour Pro are now available in Japanese.

Apple iBooks dynamic Widget support
You can now integrate virtual tours in iBooks created with Apple iBooks Author, and play this tour on your iPad without any internet connection easily.
Panotour Pro contains a new kind of export : iBooks Widget .
Fixed issue 869: no more crash on Linux when selecting the Google Map
On Linux, you can now select the Google Map in the panorama area without any crash, and then add your spots on the map with the Hotspot Editor.
Fixed issue 1117: Cursors URL are now correctly managed in menu templates
Customization of cursors was not possible due to a bug in the templates' URL management.
Fixed issue 1119: Flying hotspots do not stop the background sound anymore
When opening a flying hotspot, the background sound of the tour was stopped and resumed from the beginning.
Now flying hotspots do not impact sounds.
Fixed issue 1123: Background sound correctly played when the tour name begins with a number
The background sound of a tour which name began with a "1" was not played.
Fixed issue 1084: Adapt Cube Face size to tablet resolution
The cube faces generated by Panotour Pro were sometimes too wide for iPad, and tours took a lot of time to load due to the size of each cube face.
Fixed issue 1097: Quotes are now correctly managed in tooltips
If a quote was in a tooltip, the displayed tooltip contained extra quotes.

Quick question -
I've noticed that when viewing an iBook, the aspect ratio of the tour - regardless of whether you are viewing in portrait or landscape - is presented in the aspect ratio of the Default.png file in the root of the .wdgt folder.
Example:

Does anyone know if there is a way to force the tour to be viewed full screen, regardless of the orientation of the iPad?

I've created a widget in Panotour Pro but ibooks isn't accepting it and comes up with this message ; The HTML Dashcode file “ibook.wdgt” wasn’t added. The file doesn’t define a main HTML file. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or what is the process of to produce an ibook widget and then import into ibooks?

Hello,
It sounds strange as we force the use of an HTML template in PTP for iPad tours.
Did you remove the template, once you checked the "Mobile tour" option ?
The widget "ibook.wdgt" is a directory.
Could you go in this directory, and verify that an HTML file is in the directory ?
Then could you edit the "Info.plist" file that should also be in this directory ? Use a simple text editor.
The HTML file should be described in this file, like this :
