where PL-lenses are stated to be a 4K lens instead of the EF-lenses which are normally 2K / HD lenses.

so the PL-lenses seem to be a first step to be used with sensors which much more resolution...(?)
will this PL-mount also be available in future DSLR-bodies of Canon?
