Sound on my virtual tour

Hi I can't manage to get the sound continuously in my tour.
Let me explain every time i change room or click on a hotspot it starts over.

My hotspots are sequential arrows linked to another panorama.
The sound is added in the project properties (not only in one panorama)

If anyone got a tip i would be pleased. Thank you for your help;

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

What version of Panotour Pro are you using and on which operating system?

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

how did you implement your song(s)?

1. click on panorama->panorama properties->register Sound-> option sound to select sound file
(and 1. for every pano in your tour)
or
2. project properties-> sound -> File...

if you have choosen version 1. and did set for each pano the same song than your description would be explained.

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

hmm...
I cant reproduce this with my panotour pro 1.7.1 (win7 64bits).

can you rebuild the tour with the option "buidl tour as..." then choose a new (unused) directory and choose option "delete all existing..."?
(background: I discovered unfortunately more than one time that the normal build does not update the tour and the resulting tour can be "corrupted" which means can have unwanted sideeffects)

Georg

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

Could you send me your project file ?
I need only the "kpt" file, not the images nor the sound.

I'll see if I can reproduce your bug, and what can be wrong either with your project or in PanotourPro

Send it to contact[at]kolor.com

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

Hi everyone, I am having the exact same problem  music restarts every time you change image, I apply the music to the tour only and leave repeat at 0.  The only way I get it to work is delete everything  from the project folder before final save and then " save as" with the delete button ticked, this works most of the time.  I am using PC windows xp and the latest version of panotour.
Has anyone got a better fix ???.

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

Hello,

Could you both, Jerry and Kevin, send me your project file so we can reproduce/solve this issue ?

Kevin, the only problem I found when you sent me your project in january was a problem with sound after a Flying hotspot was opened.
This is fixed in the 1.7.3 version of PTP.

Re: Sound on my virtual tour

hello,
I have this problem aswell. I use Panotour Pro 1.8 and I have implemented the sound function from project properties-> sound -> File....
I have tried to build the tour several times but i still have this exact problem, when I click on a hotspot the music starts over.

Has anyone got a good solution for this now...?????

well - as Gerald suggested.... send him your project file so he can review and find a solution cool
and wink Gerald, clicking on your postings email button the users do not see your emailaddress, so they cant attach the files...
