Polygonal hotspot with blur effect

At the moment we can only set some outline and fill color (with transparency) to polygonal hotspots. It would be great if we can also add blur effect (with strenght parameter) to polygons.
It can be very useful to cover faces, advertisigns or car plates. I would rather add this blur effect in hotspot editor when (and where) necessary, not by editing (and destroying) panorama picture.

Re: Polygonal hotspot with blur effect

I dont want to edit cube faces. Sometimes it can be very frustrating (with gigapano for example).

I think blur effect is already available in code. We just need this option in PTP.

Look here: http://www.krpano.com/forum/wbb/index.php?l=1 (PTP is kind of GUI for PRPano).

Besides: you don´t need to edit cubefaces to get blurred hotspots . . . cool You just have to edit the hotspots.

The idea which destiny´s sister in mind, Special fx, told is a way to do so!

Re: Polygonal hotspot with blur effect

I made some tests with xml's - I can apply blur effect to polygon hotspot and it works! Unfortunately, the effect works only on the polygon, not the background. And this effect is very slow...
