"Color tone" being used instead of "white balance"

That French word "ton" should be used for brightness values (like in PS Tons Foncés/Tons clairs) and not for hue adjustments or color balance, I still said that in several occasions but for English I was not certain. As a result my opinion was that the use of "tonalité" to name some of the Autopano anchors (like in this section of the French documentation: Correction de la colorimétrie) was inapropriate but that "color tone" used in English version was acceptable.

I was wrong.

In the following www.About.com page, that "color tone" is not "color hue" is clearly shown. As a result "color tone" should be replaced by "white balance" et en français "tonalité" devrait être remplacé par "balance couleur"...

Je suis d'accord, la documentation des ancres de couleur parle de 'tons' et de 'tonalité', ce qui est généralement synonyme de niveau de gris.
Alors quand cette doc sera t elle corrigée ?
