Is free manual movement possible?

Additionally to automatically shooting the panorama I want to take extra photos of certain areas and later merge them into the panorama.
To achieve this, the camera has to stay in place and I would move the head by hand. Is this possible - e.g. when the head is off, or does the motor block any movement then?
To make clear: I don't talk about moving the head via the software, but really hands on.
Looking forward to your responses, Chris

You can do that without problem, just be sure head is off (with the red power switch) before trying to move it by hand smile

I assume you meant HEAD is off.

Thank's! This is good news for my project!
