Stop on a roadtrip

Hi!

Let me share this beautiful resting spot where you can stop the car for a moment, breath the fresh air from the lake, listen to the calm sound of waves and watch the birds play. It's on a small road around Konnevesi, Finland. The road i drive every other month smile

Re: Stop on a roadtrip

Thanks Hans! It indeed is a great spot smile

I refined the quality of our panoramas a bit so which one you find better, this one or this: http://imagery.fi/virtualtours/lakefinl … scape.html

Just check the picture quality, details and so on to compare smile Thanks!

Jesse

Thanks AlexandreJ! smile

So you prefer the one in this thread? I like it more too smile Too bad now i need to redo most of my new panoramas to be uptodate in quality with the ones to come. Always great when you find better way to do things and it make older panoramas look not so good anymore big_smile

Jesse

Re: Stop on a roadtrip

To be honest, the first one had more traces of CA, so therefore I would like the second one more.......

Re: Stop on a roadtrip

If you shot raw photos, you can use automatic CA removal in RawTherapee.

Re: Stop on a roadtrip

Hi Nelike,

The latest version of Rawtherapee does it automaticly if you shoot in RAW.

Being colorblind you did a great job on the colors anyhow!

Re: Stop on a roadtrip

@DrSlony Thanks for the tip smile I will check it out and see if i can fit it in my workflow without making it much slower. Adding more steps in your workflow is never feeling good because it slow the production but if it's for better quality, why not smile

@Haans So the colors are not badly wrong? big_smile Good that most of the time i can just follow diagrams to see if colors are fine or not, helps a lot. Also if picture don't have too much blue or yellow, i know the WB is around right if forgot to take manual WB at the scene. Colorblindness haven't stop me doing what i love as i work as a mediaspecialist, doing websites, graphics, print products and any other kind of media smile It's not a disease, it a feature!

Jesse
