seems that it took 5 days to take the 2947 photos needed to do this 280 000 X 140 000 pixels spherical scene !!!!

Yes - it´s very well made. But i don´t like exceeding the zoom over 100% just to have high gigapixel numbers.

No way they did that... its perfect... The best ever.... No way is this beyond 100 on zoom.. it doesn't pixulate/bur past 100% in an way....

on the blog it was written its made with a 70-200mm lens.
so even with an extender with finally 400mm of focal length if you shoot a book from this distance through the room and you zoom at 100% its never so close!

PS: have a look at following link ;-)) I use it myself it works very well. I did test it... even taking on single 10mpixel image of an 1.6 crop camera you can pump up within 10hours to 1 Terabyte harddisk size....
