shorter name of the pano[Win-Vista, APP2.51]

Hallo,

I normally use the following code for naming the panorama:

#%i..%j

That results in something like

#P1280759..P1280761.jpg

as the name of the pano, with # indicating a panorama.
Since this name is a little redundant and too long for my data base browser, I shorten it
taking only the last two (or seldom three) digits of the last picture's name, to look like this:

#P1280759..61.jpg

Could you introduce a code like

#%i..%j:2

(or any other means) to produce this automatically ?
Thanks for considering this for your next software update.

Peter

That's a good idea and quite easy to do : Issue 722 opened, planned for 2.6

Done but with ";" as a delimiter and not ":" because it's not allowed to be used on many file systems, so, if the template is wrong, it should not fail creating the panorama and with ";" it will work.

smile This works great !  Thanks for implementing this !  As I found out, it also works for naming the project file ...

Just a short hint in the help box would also others give the chance to use this.
