if the map is in original size 258 * 439 pixel. So I assume your allgorythm says per default 10% or orig size place the default map on top left corner...

my screenshot shows the default map at 20%, I hardcoded xml to "width="46" height="80" and this is still very small, but now recognizable....

featurerequest: after uploading map image PTP can calculate the default 10% valuefor the map preview. It would be perfect than to have an option field showing these width and heights pixel values so you can adopt if desired... Or alternativley having a slider where you can change between 0-100% of original map size.
