Still waiting on panotour pro license (pending)

I have to say that the support for the products at Kolor is very, very poor.  I asked questions that took like a week to get answered and when I finally place an order to get the autopano giga and also did the update (autopanogiga+krpano license) to get the code for Panotour pro I am left waiting.

It has been 48 hours and nothing has been posted to my account (My Licenses) and the order just sits there saying PENDING.

What seems to be the holdup? Does it really take you people 2+ days to get the license sent? order number is 200013063.

Im just a little surprised since the product is rather high in price I would expect the support to be alot better.

That has not been my experience.

Did you pose your questions on the forum?

It is frustrating to wait I'm sure but the free licence key for Panotour Pro (still pre-release) currently requires manual validation/order processing - and it is a weekend.

Re: Still waiting on panotour pro license (pending)

1. I did ask my quastion in the forum and emailed support back on the 22nd, i see 71 views but ZERO replies. (http://www.autopano.net/forum/t11023-pa … phone-ipad)

2. I actually placed the order on the 27th ( a thurs morning)......not sure how long a manual validation could possibly take?

Anyway, hopefully things get straightened out, I like the product but am just frustrated at the delay.

And I read it but I don't have an iDevice so can't perform the test.

However considering the small size and low resolution of the iDevices displays I doubt it would be useable even if it did work.

You would probably be better off using thumbnails - you have perhaps explored some of the examples of iDevice compatible tours in the Virtual tour gallery?:

Re: Still waiting on panotour pro license (pending)

I ordered Autopano Pro 2.0 in Jan 2010 and mine still says pending and have never received an email or license key even though they've told me in an email that I own it. My 2.0 key doesn't show up under "My licenses" either. And hence can't upgrade to 2.5 either. My KAPP* license when I try to put it in 2.5 says it's obsolete.

How's that for frustrating?

Welcome to the forum...

What am I missing here?

You say you ordered  APP 2.0 in Jan 2010 but never received a licence key but then mention a KAPP* licence key, what was that key for?

Why if you never received the licence key for APP 2.0 in Jan 2010 have you waited until now to say anything?

2.5 doesn't require a new licence key a 2.x licence key works. Obviously an APP 2.x key only works for APP 2.5, and likewise for APG.

Do you want to upgrade from APP 2.0 to APG 2.5?

Re: Still waiting on panotour pro license (pending)

When I put the KAPP* license in the registration form for 2.5 says it is obsolete. I got this key off of the website from my account. My account says the following.

Products      Login     Associated key
Autopano Pro 1 MacOS 1.2.1     email@XXXXXXXX.com     9BFE*
Autopano Pro 1 MacOS 1.2.1     email@XXXXXXXX.com     KAPP*

That KAPP key is obsolete and was given to me a long time ago. I believe before the 2.0 release. Maybe not. I'd have to search.
I'm assuming that the second key is just an input error and that it's supposed to say 2.0 or something.

According to Guillaume from kolor I do own 2.0 even though it says pending. For over a year. =O

My order page looks like this...

5 Item(s)        Show  per page
Order #     Date     Ship to     Order Total     Order Status
2XXXXXXX     1/25/10   € 39.00     Pending     View Order
2XXXXXXX    12/10/08 € 41.85     Complete     View Order
4XXXX             11/7/07   € 99.00     Complete     View Order

Thanks for you help!

*It's been a very busy year so I never got around to updating the software after I upgraded it.

Then I think the best thing to do is contact him/them again - quoting that order history - and ask them to email you your V2.x licence key because it sounds as if there's a 'blip' in their systems which have been upgraded/changed recently and I think this has caused a few issues like yours.

You could use the contact form on this page if you don't have an email address.

http://www.kolor.com/contact.html

The APP 2.x licence key will work with APP 2.5.
