[PTP 1.5] 3D Editor does not display pano.

win7 64bit, PTP 1.5 RC2, 1.5 Final, 32bit png (direct output of APG 2.5 RC3), 16bit PNG created by imagemagic convert, GPU enabled and GPU disabled.

with above settings & images the loaded panorama will not be displayed in the 3D Editor.
tour renders absolute normal without any error...

I also tested tiffs generated by APG 2.5 RC2 and also single jgp images . in all cases remains the 3D window black. moving the mouse inside changes the angles of fov values...

Nvidia GeForce GTX260 with driver 8.16.11.9107

Re: [PTP 1.5] 3D Editor does not display pano.

Some question to help us to find the problem:

Have you the last driver for NVidia (current are 266.58 from january the 14th of this year)?
Have you trouble with other 3D software?
If you go into fullscreen for the 3D View, and come back is the problem stay here?

will check this all today evening when at home.
I doubt I've the newest driver installed - I mean did not install it manually. Just did Win7 install itself and permanent system updates are enabled.
no other 3D Software in use.

ok -  I did further testing.

status: today evening I opend the yesterday project I encountered the problem with. result: 3D window is displayed correctly.
but no PC reboot, no update, no change in project nore source images menawhile.
So why it is working now? no explanation for now.

I than did review program settings. Monocore was enabled. I changed to multicore (8 cores, maximum) and did reload the PTP.
result: after adding same source image to new project: the 3D window appears within less than one second... with monocore it takes several seconds.

so finally, I cant currently reproduce this behaviour.
I finally also updated nvidea to the suggested driver version...

Re: [PTP 1.5] 3D Editor does not display pano.

Multicore increase performance and load/export images on project.

Strange problem, it certainly due to a bug with your graphics card... very difficult to find exactly what happens. Let us know it you get this problem again.
