wow! thanks for sharing the videos of the aerial tours...
;-) a closeup with the heli to the team during final seconds would be the icing on the cake ;-)

can you tell bit about hardware and resources used for this 360 video?
how long dows it take to render?

Liebe Gruesse,
Georg

Very impressive !!
Must be a kind of Google Camera no ?
6 to 9 synchronised video camera. But what a mess for the stiching...

Imagine that with your friends's hectacopter... maybe a dodecacopter in fact ^^

Couplé à un casque de réalité augmentée, plus un capteur pour ajuster le champ de vision en fonction de la position de la tête, ça doit déchirer grave !

I'm not the maker of these virtual tours, so I can't tell you more

ok the more expensive version could be:
http://www.ptgrey.com/products/spherical.asp

the more cheaper solution could be one or combination of these:

http://www.eyesee360.com/
http://www.0-360.com/
http://www.giroptic.com/en_US/produits.php
http://www.3k-pano.com/produkt/index.html

and the doityourself approach:

edit: and also in near future feature of krpano, first alpha available:

I believe that this video was produced with the camera of company Immersive Media, they have a camera with 11 lenses which captures and merges the images automatically.

The quality is amazing, and the equipment is expensive.
I consulted them one year ago and a franchise would cost $ 119.000.00 dollars.

Look here: http://www.immersivemedia.com/

Re: Visites et vidéos 360 virtuelles

Hi guys, this is my first post on autopano, so hello to all smile This was made with a home made camera system with 6 prosumer cameras running video. It isn't a immersivemedia rig. They actually went out of business a few months back. I also use a LB3 but this was shot with a different rig. Here is a link to the flat version on utube. It is displayed at 1080p, so considerably higher quality then most of the other 360 cams.

another payable possibility is that product:

Sure not very high quality but for videos an  acceptable alternative.
